To change the audio output settings on a Mac, click on the Apple icon → "System Preferences" → "Sound" → "Output" → Choose a device for audio output → Customize device settings. Note:
you will need to have connected another output device to select an option other than the default speakers.
Steps

Step 1. Click on the Apple icon
The Apple logo is located in the upper left corner of the menu bar.

Step 2. Click on System Preferences

Step 3. Click on the "Sound" icon
She is depicted by a loudspeaker.

Step 4. Click Exit

Step 5. Click on an output device in the list

Step 6. Customize the device settings
- Click the white slider next to "Balance" and drag it to adjust the balance settings.
- Click on the white slider next to "Output Volume" and drag it to change the settings associated with the volume.

Step 7. Click on the red "X" button
The changes made to the audio output settings will be applied!
