This article explains how to change the text of a message to appear in bold in a conversation on Telegram using a desktop browser.
Steps
Step 1. Open the Telegram website in a browser
Type web.telegram.org in the browser address bar, then press Enter on your keyboard.
- If you do not log in automatically on the Telegram website, you will need to verify your account by indicating your mobile number and entering a code.
- Alternatively, you can download and use one of Telegram's desktop applications.
Step 2. Click on a chat in the left panel
Search for the contact or group you want to send a message to in the conversation list and click on their name. A conversation will open on the right.
Step 3. Write a message in the appropriate field
The text box is at the bottom of the conversation. Inside the box you will read the sentence "Write a message …".
Step 4. Enter the words you want to appear in bold between two asterisks
Once the message has been sent to the contact, the asterisks will disappear and the text will appear in bold.
Before sending, the message should look like this: ** message **
Step 5. Click Submit
This button is written in blue and is located at the bottom right. The message will be sent within the conversation and the text between the asterisks will appear in bold.
