This wikiHow teaches you how to upload an image to a Discord private chat from an Android device.
Steps
Step 1. Open Discord
To find this app, open the application menu, then tap the Discord icon. It features a joystick-shaped white smiley face on a blue background.
If you are not logged into Discord, please do so before continuing
Step 2. Click on ☰
This button is located in the upper left corner of the screen.
Step 3. Tap on Friends
Step 4. Select the friend you want to send an image to
This will open your profile.
Step 5. Click on the chat icon
It features two overlapping speech bubbles and is located in the lower right corner of the screen. At this point the direct message window will open, where you will see the chat with the friend in question.
Step 6. Click on +
This button is located in the lower left corner of the screen.
If you haven't sent images with Discord yet, you may be prompted to give proper permissions before you can continue. Click on "Grant Permission", if prompted, then click on "Allow"
Step 7. Select an image from the gallery
You may need to scroll down or browse through folders to find the right photo.
If you prefer to take a photo and send it to your friend, press the camera icon in the lower right corner of the gallery to open it. Then, take the picture
Step 8. Click on the enter icon
It features a white paper airplane on a blue background. The image will immediately appear in the chat window.
