If you are using Windows 10, the option to quit Netflix can be found in the "…" menu. If you have Windows 8, you can use the OS charms bar to open Netflix settings. You can also use the website itself to log out of all devices at once.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using the Netflix website
Step 1. Open your browser and type netflix.com
This will open the Netflix website. If you are already logged in, you will be redirected to the profile selection screen or catalog page.
If you use the application downloaded from the Microsoft Store instead of the website to view Netflix content, read the next section
Step 2. Click on your account name in the upper right corner
A small menu will open with your profiles and account options.
Step 3. Select "Quit Netflix" to disconnect immediately
This will take you out of the website and return to the login page.
Step 4. Select "Account" if you want to log out of all devices
You can access the page dedicated to your account to log out of all the computers and other devices to which you are currently connected. This process can be useful if you have forgotten to log out of a public or friend's computer.
Once the page dedicated to your account opens, click on "Log out of account from all devices" in the section entitled "Settings". Once the operation is confirmed, all connected devices will be logged out immediately
Step 5. If you are unable to log out, delete the cookies and clear the cache
If after logging out you still have to stay connected to Netflix, it is possible that this is due to a problem with cookies and the cache. Deleting both should allow you to permanently quit Netflix.

Method 2 of 2: Using the Application on Windows 8
Step 1. Open the "Start" screen
You can do this by clicking or pressing the Windows button in the lower left corner of the desktop, pressing the ⊞ Win key on the keyboard, or swiping left across the screen and tapping the Windows button.
Step 2. Open the Netflix application
You can find it on the "Start" screen or in the "All Programs" section.
Step 3. Search for Netflix if you can't find the application
If you can't find the program, type "netflix" in the search box on the "Start" screen. Press or click on the relevant result to open the program.
Step 4. Open the charms bar in the application
Netflix settings can be accessed from the charms bar, which you can open on the right side of the screen. The bar contains the menus "Search", "Start", "Share" and "Settings".
- If you're using the touchscreen, swipe left across the screen to open the charms bar.
- If you use the mouse, move the cursor until you get to the top right corner of the screen. This will open the charms bar.
Step 5. Press or click on the "Settings" button, the icon of which looks like a gear
This will open the application settings.
Step 6. Select "Exit"
You will be asked to confirm the operation.
Step 7. Confirm that you want to exit
You will be taken back to the Netflix login screen, where you can log in or create a new trial account.
