Very often, those who love Korea and its songs want to write one themselves. Many write songs in a language other than their mother tongue: some are successful, others not. This article is not a complete summary or an exhaustive explanation, but rather lays down some basic guidelines on Korean literature.
Steps
Step 1. Learn the language
First of all, the language must be put first. To write a Korean or Asian song, you need to know the language. For help, you could hire a Korean tutor or learn from books. There are several ways to learn a language, you just have to find the one that's right for you.
Step 2. Listen to lots of Korean pop music
You can listen to artists like Super Junior, Kangta, Yoo Young Jin, SHINee, FT Island, MBLAQ, f (x), Girls' Generation, BoA, TVXQ, Big Bang, Exo, Epik High, Uhm Jung Hwa, SG Wannabe, Fly To The Sky, Shinhwa, Baek Ji Young and Yoon Mi Rae. They are all great artists you could get inspiration from for your songs. Remember that the songs can be of different types: rock, punk, hip-hop, rap, classic, soft rock, traditional and so on.
Step 3. Insert some native language words in your song, in addition to the Korean ones
For example: "I don't forget you wow gi ril gge yo". Or in Japanese: "Non kitai my heart".
Step 4. Write the song very simply and easy to remember
Try to write a Korean song that is fun and easy to remember, like the "Giro giro tondo" song you used to sing when you were a child. Write a simple and harmonious song.

- Don't be too anxious and don't think about it too much while singing it, free your emotions !!
- Perform in front of your family to entertain them, for example, during the holidays.
Warnings
- Don't make it too descriptive because it would just be very complicated.
- Don't use too many words in your native language or Korean. Try to find a middle ground between the two languages.
