Steps
Step 1. Get an iOS or Android smartphone
To start recording your music you must have a smartphone that has the operating system installed iOS or Android; make sure you have at least 110 mb of free space in memory to allow the installation of the app that will be suggested later.
Step 2. Download your smartphone recording studio
Enter the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and type " n-Track Studio 8"to download yours recording studio for mobile devices. n-Track Studio 8 is free. However, to activate all the functions it is better to activate the monthly subscription for only 0, 99 cents / month. For such a complete app, the cost of a coffee is justified right?
Part 1 of 3: Start composing and recording your own music
Step 1. Click on the option you prefer
For simplicity, we will start with a audio project. Click on "audio project" to start your new project and write your first song.
Step 2. Get your guitar or your favorite instrument
Always make sure your instrument is in tune.

Note: you don't know how to tune your instrument, just use
the free "n-Track Tuner" app. You can find it on all stores.
Step 3. Start recording your song
- To record your first track click on the round button at the bottom left as in the image.
- You can record an unlimited number of tracks using different instruments or, if you are a singer, import a backing track and record your voice on separate tracks like in a real multitrack.
Part 2 of 3: Save the track
Step 1. Export the Audio Mixdown
- Click on the last button at the bottom right of the app to save your song.
- Choose the "Export Mixdown" option;
- Rename your track;
- Choose the destination folder in which to save your song;
- Click on "OK" and that's it!
