News Break is an application for Android and iOS devices that sends the user notifications about news and events related to the area where they live based on the settings provided. This article explains how to uninstall the News Break app from your device.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: iOS devices
Step 1. Locate the application
It is characterized by the white letter "N" placed on a red background. Normally it is visible on the Home of the device or in one of the pages that compose it.
Step 2. Keep your finger pressed on the application icon
Do not lift your finger from the screen. If the 3D Touch feature menu appears, it means you pressed the screen too hard, so you will need to try again.
When the icons of all applications start to wobble, you can lift your finger from the screen
Step 3. Tap the X-shaped button
A small badge with the letter "X" will appear in the upper left corner of all uninstallable app icons.
If the button in the shape of X does not appear, most likely you will need to enable app uninstall from the "Restrictions" menu.
Step 4. Select the Delete option from the pop-up window that appeared
This will confirm that you want to uninstall the application in question.
The application in question will be removed from the iOS device. To return to normal viewing mode and make app icons stop wobbling, press the Home button
Method 2 of 2: Android devices
Step 1. Launch the Settings app
It is characterized by a gray icon of a gear located on the Home or in the "Applications" panel. Alternatively, you can perform a search.
You can also slide your finger down the screen from the top. The Settings app icon is visible in the upper right corner of the Android notification panel
Step 2. Select the App item
In some cases you will need to select the "Apps and notifications" option.
Step 3. Locate the News Break application
You may need to scroll down the list.
Step 4. Press the Uninstall button
The chosen application will be uninstalled and removed from the device Home.
