Want to know how to no longer be that scruffy, smelly guy everyone tries to avoid? Read these tips and find out how to take care of personal hygiene on a daily basis.
Steps
Step 1. Shower every day with a nice bubble bath
Don't forget to wash your feet and armpits well. It is important to be clean. Also wash your private parts well because if you don't do it regularly, the hairs will become soaked in sweat, causing an unpleasant smell.
Step 2. Wash your hair with shampoo
Also use conditioner if needed. Many people have to wash their hair every day if it is particularly oily. Remember to wash the skin well by massaging it with your fingertips and rinse until there is no more soap and until you feel the hair almost screeching in contact with your fingers.
Use products with pleasant fragrances. Keep your hair clean and tidy at all times
Step 3. Use a roll-on deodorant, not a spray, to prevent the stench of sweat in your armpits
Put the deodorant only after washing, do not use it as a replacement for the shower, if you do, the bad smell will increase rather than decrease. Put on deodorant in the morning, or after gym class (or anytime you feel the need to).
Step 4. Use a cream to soften dry skin
You can choose whether to use the cream or not, it depends on your skin type, if it is dry it will be good to moisturize it to prevent it from appearing chapped.
Step 5. Clean your nails and trim them until you reach the white margin
Girls will notice, and be disgusted, if you have long, dirty nails. Do the same with your toes too.
Step 6. Brush your teeth after each meal and floss at least once a day
If you are a student, brush your teeth at least in the morning before going to school, your smile will be more attractive and your breath fresher. Brush your teeth and also scrub your tongue, where bacteria settle. The use of mouthwash is also highly recommended to have a pleasant breath.
Step 7. Use perfume or scented oils
You will keep a good scent all day.
Step 8. Wash your face every day with a soap to prevent acne formation
Thoroughly cleanse your face in the morning when you wake up and in the evening before falling asleep.
Step 9. Don't wear dirty clothes and wash your clothes regularly
At most, you can wear jeans for two days, but never put on the same shirt more than once, or even socks and underwear. When your clothes are dirty, wash them immediately and don't think about using them again before putting them in the washing machine.
- Take off your shoes as soon as you get home so they can dry and get some air.
- Wear socks when wearing shoes. Feet sweat a lot during the day so if you don't wear socks your shoes will store more sweat, and therefore bad smell.
- Wear tank tops to absorb sweat, which would otherwise quickly pass to the shirt.
Advice
When you go to the bathroom, freshen up with wet wipes. They clean better than toilet paper and leave a good smell
Warnings
- Don't use too much aftershave, deodorant and cologne. Especially if you don't choose branded products. Also, many people are allergic to perfume, so don't overdo the quantity.
- Don't try to replace the shower with deodorant. You can put in a little cologne, but never too much. If you have a spray perfume, spray it only once on your neck and wrists. On the other hand, if you have a traditional bottle, drop a few drops on your fingers and pass the perfume behind your ears and on your wrists. Even if you feel like you haven't exaggerated, it's not necessarily the same for others, so use fragrances in moderation.
- If you have a dog or cat at home, brush off any hair your pets may leave on your clothes.
