Many know that the numbers displayed on a calculator display, when viewed upside down, resemble the letters of the Italian alphabet. The following tutorial will show you how to write some meaningful words using numbers from a calculator.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Write Words with a Calculator
Step 1. Each number, when viewed upside down, represents a letter of the alphabet
Below you will find the complete list:
- 0= O / D
- Step 1.= I
- Step 2.= Z
- Step 3.= E
- Step 4.= H
- Step 5.= S
- Step 6.= P
- Step 7.= L
- Step 8.= B
- Step 9.= G
Step 2. Use the available letters to write a word
Try writing them down on a sheet of paper first.
Step 3. Use the list from the previous step to 'encode' letters to numbers, assigning each letter in your word the corresponding number
Step 4. Type the resulting number, from right to left, using your calculator (start typing the resulting number starting with the last letter of your word)
Step 5. Flip the calculator over and there you have it:
a word written in numbers!
