Your beloved pet's fur can be quite frustrating when it reaches clothes, rugs and sofa pillowcases! However, there is no need to keep your favorite pet away. This article contains information on how to remove hair from almost any surface.
Steps
Step 1. Moisten them
Lightly moisten the palm of your hand. Sweep the hair away from top to bottom. The hairs will ball up and stick to your palm. This method works because the hair gets wet, and therefore heavier. This prevents it from flying back onto your pants (or whatever surface you are treating) thanks to static energy.
Step 2. Take a normal kitchen sponge and just dampen it
If you are cleaning a carpet instead, use a sponge mop, in this case make sure you have first vacuumed the floor with a vacuum cleaner. Scrub the surface with the sponge. The fur should come together in balls that you can easily peel off with your hands.
Step 3. Put on a latex glove
Scrub the surface with the glove. Your pet's fur should stick to the glove. This also works with rubber gloves or fabric gardening gloves with a rubber part on the palm. A rubber bristle brush or broom works the same way on floors. Moisten the glove or the rubber part to improve its effectiveness.
Step 4. Inflate a balloon
Rub it on the surface you want to remove hair from. The static on the surface of the balloon will attract hair (it also works with your hair!) And you can put it aside to reuse it a second time.
Step 5. Use the velcro
Step 6. Use a softening material
Try using one of those fabrics treated with fabric softener that are usually used in the dryer.
Step 7. Preventive measures
Keep your clothes in hard-to-reach places or brush your pets regularly to reduce the amount of hair they shed. Vacuum carpets and pillow cases regularly.
Step 8. You can also use duct tape
Simply wrap a little in your hand, with the adhesive side outwards and dab on the surface.
Step 9. Use a plastic broom
This method is perfect for hair that is more difficult to remove.
Advice
- Rollers designed to detach the hair from surfaces work as well as wrapping your hand in duct tape, but obviously the roller is much faster to use.
- You can put the clothes in the washing machine and then in the dryer with a static cloth. Once they are clean, hang them up.
- A good diet can significantly reduce your puppy's hair loss. Never wash a dog more than once a month.
- Dogs with untreated allergies often shed more hair.
- on the market you can find excellent brushes for all types of dog and cat hair.
