Boots No 7 serums are beauty products whose goal is to rejuvenate and make the skin visibly more beautiful. By applying this cosmetic twice a day (morning and evening) you can start noticing good results just two weeks after starting the treatment.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Cleanse the Skin
Step 1. Take off your make-up
If you have applied make-up products, be sure to remove them completely using a wipe or cotton pad soaked in make-up remover. Alternatively, you can use a cleansing oil to remove your make-up. Regardless of which product you select, apply gentle pressure as you remove your makeup and be sure to apply the makeup remover all over your face.
Go over the areas where you have applied the most make-up, such as your eyes, to make sure you remove it completely
Step 2. Wash your hands carefully
It is important that the face is very clean when applying the serum. Since facial cleansing is done with the help of the hands, it is essential to wash them. Rinse them with lukewarm water and massage in antibacterial soap until a thick lather forms. Wash your hands for about 20 seconds, then rinse them and pat them dry with a clean towel.
Step 3. Wash your face with a mild cleanser
The face should always be washed before applying the serum. Create a full-bodied lather using your favorite cleanser and lukewarm water. Then, massage your skin with the product to remove all dirt and oil residue. Rinse it well with warm water.
- If you often suffer from breakouts and blemishes, choose a cleanser for acne-prone skin.
- If you have dry skin, choose a moisturizing cleanser with a creamy base.
Step 4. Blot your face with a soft towel
Take a clean towel and dab it repeatedly on the skin very gently. Stop the procedure before the skin is completely dry so the serum can penetrate deeper and create a protective barrier.
Part 2 of 3: Apply the Serum
Step 1. Pour a small amount of serum on your hand
Remove the cap from the package and squeeze a small amount of product onto your fingertips. It doesn't take much: calculate more or less the size of a pea. Since the serum is concentrated, a good result can be obtained by applying a small amount.
Step 2. Dab the serum on your forehead, cheeks and chin
Rub your fingertips together to distribute the product, then pat it on your forehead. At this point, pat the remaining product on your cheeks and chin to make sure you apply it to all areas that can benefit from it.
Step 3. Massage the serum into the skin
Massage the product all over the face and neck, but avoid the eye area. Start from the central area of the forehead and make large outward movements during application. Let it absorb completely before applying further products.
Part 3 of 3: Moisturize the skin
Step 1. Once the serum is spread, apply a day cream from the same brand every morning
Serum No 7 contains several effective properties to combat skin aging, but it does not have moisturizing properties. After applying the serum in the morning, take a small amount of the product from the jar of the day cream of the No 7 range. Massage it into the skin to make sure you moisturize your face well and protect it from the sun.
Alternatively, use a lotion or face cream with SPF
Step 2. Wait 15 minutes before putting on your makeup
When you apply the serum and moisturizer in the morning, let your skin absorb both products for about 15 minutes. This allows the cream to penetrate well into the epidermis and hydrate it to the fullest. At the end of the 15 minutes you can start wearing makeup.
Step 3. After applying the serum, use the night cream from the No 7 range every night
Once you have massaged the serum on your face, take a small amount of the product from the jar of night cream from the same range. Gently massage it all over your face; in this way the epidermis will remain healthy and hydrated throughout the night.
Step 4. Dab a very small amount of an eye contour product on the eye area
Do not apply the serum or moisturizer around the eyes: use a specific product instead. Once the moisturizer has been applied, take a small amount of the No 7 eye contour with your fingertips and pat it only on the eye area. This should help you minimize and / or prevent crow's feet.
- The eye area is delicate, so try not to weigh it down and don't use too many products.
- If you prefer, you can very well use a different brand of eye contour.
