Want to build a flamethrower to impress your friends? Are you super bored? Contrary to popular belief, flamethrowers are incredibly simple to make, and their construction requires no special tools (at least for the simple, but very unstable versions). Follow these simple steps on how to make three different types of flamethrowers, each with its own range. Some may be more difficult to make.
Let's talk about serious things for a moment
This operation is super dangerous. Although made very well, there is always the risk that the flame will enter the container and cause it to explode, causing you injury and death. You are using this information at your own risk. Don't get us ranked in the Darwin Awards.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Method 1: Flamethrower with Lighter (minimum flame)
Step 1. Get a lighter
They are found in all tobacconists, you can buy it there.
Step 2. Remove the metal cover
Just spread out the side parts, that way it will come off.
Step 3. Turn the wheel
Turn the throttle wheel in the direction of “+” (normally to the right).
Step 4. Bring the cursor back
Raise the slider so it doesn't touch the adjustment wheel and move it back to the left.
Step 5. Reposition the cursor and repeat
You can repeat this operation several times. Be careful, if you open it too much, the gas starts to escape.
Step 6. Turn it on
Be careful, you should get a flame of 8 cm upwards. Adjust it according to your needs.
Step 7. For a larger flame
By spraying WD-40 or engine degreaser on the flame you can get a HUGE flame. Keep both of you away from yourself, other people, and flammable objects. IT'S DANGEROUS!
Method 2 of 3: Method 2: Canister Flamethrower (medium flame)
Step 1. Put on the rubber bands
Put two rubber bands around a spray can.
You can use a can of Ax, hair spray, etc. What you prefer
Step 2. Place the bracket
Place the stirrup (at a 90 degree angle) between the rubber bands. Make sure it adheres firmly to the can.
Step 3. Make a sticky surface
Cut a small piece of double-sided tape and stick it under the candle.
- Alternatively, you can use chewing gum.
- You can also melt some wax on the bracket and use it as a glue for the candle.
Step 4. Attach it to the bracket
Attach the candle to the bracket using double-sided tape, or other adhesives.
Step 5. Calibrate the flamethrower
Line up the candle with the cap of the spray can.
Step 6. Light the candle
Pay attention.
Step 7. Spray
Do not point the flame towards flammable objects. Watch out.
Method 3 of 3: Method 3: Flamethrower with Super Liquidator (maximum flame)
Step 1. Get a good water gun
It must maintain good pressure, be made of good quality plastic, and have a large reservoir.
Step 2. Get a metal bracket
You will need a metal bracket. You can choose whether to use an I or an L, depending on the type of gun you use. Attach the bracket to the gun, with the flat part parallel to the floor, a couple of centimeters below the dispenser.
Step 3. Protect the gun
Cover the nozzle with aluminum foil, just enough for the waste to come out. This will protect it from the flame.
Step 4. Fill the shotgun
Fill the tank of the water gun with lighter fluid.
Step 5. Attach a candle
Stick a candle on the edge of the bracket. You can use double-sided tape, chewing gum, or other adhesive substances. As long as it's not glue.
Step 6. Light the candle
Use whichever method you prefer to light the candle.
Step 7. Shoot
Don't forget to upload first.
Advice
- Do not use glue, as you may need to replace the candle when it runs out.
- If the flame goes out often try to lower the candle a little.
Warnings
- Better to carry out these operations outdoors.
- Use everything with extreme care.
- If the bottle cap catches fire, turn off the flame and dry it.
