Do you have a glass pipe that needs cleaning? Here are two ways to quickly and easily clean your glass pipe at home.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Use Denatured Alcohol
Step 1. Remove any excess material from the pipe
Holding the pipe upside down, gently tap it sideways to push out even the smallest particles.
Step 2. Fill a sealable bag with denatured alcohol
Place the pipe inside the bag, making sure that the pipe is completely submerged in alcohol.
Step 3. Leave the pipe soaked in alcohol overnight
Close the plastic bag and let the pipe soak in the alcohol for 8-10 hours.
Step 4. Remove the pipe from the bag
Rinse thoroughly under cold water, and then use a pipe cleaner or cotton swab to remove any excess residue.
Step 5. Let the pipe dry completely before using it again
Method 2 of 2: Use boiling water
Step 1. Fill a saucepan with water
Put it on the stove and bring to a boil. Let it boil slowly.
Step 2. Put the pipe in the saucepan
Make sure the pipe is completely submerged in the water.
Make sure you have removed any excess material first by turning the pipe upside down and tapping it sideways
Step 3. Leave the pipe to soak for 20-30 minutes in boiling water
Remove the saucepan from the heat, remove all the water, and check that the pipe has no excess residual material.
You may need to repeat this with another saucepan of clean water until the pipe is thoroughly cleaned
Step 4. Use a pipe cleaner or cotton swab to remove any excess residue
Let the pipe dry completely before using it again.
