Most Graco strollers, especially those made in the 21st century, can be folded in one go. Others, particularly older models, may take slightly longer procedures to fold, but it shouldn't be too difficult to fold once you know what you're looking for.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Close Older Models
Step 1. Lock the brakes
Use your foot to push down on the lever next to the rear wheels. When the lever is down, it should prevent the wheels from moving.
Step 2. Lock the front wheels
In some stroller models, the front wheels may also have a locking mechanism to prevent them from turning. First of all, push the stroller to put the wheels facing forward. Then look for a small lever between the front wheels; if there is, you may need to push it up or down, depending on the model, to lock the wheels in place.
Step 3. Close the roof
Gently push the canopy, if open, to fold it back.
Step 4. Lay the seat back
Pull the seat as far back as possible. On some models you may need to unhook the side straps to do this.
Step 5. Find a toggle at the bottom
Check on the sides of the stroller for a small lever, somewhere near the seat base or wheels. On some models it is sufficient to fold them when this lever is pulled in a particular direction, while others require you to press a button in the center of the handle and hold it down while folding the stroller
Step 6. Fold the stroller
You should now be able to fold the stroller by simply pushing the back and base together. Grab the bottom handle, if there is one. If necessary, pull the stroller frame near the wheels to begin folding it, then move your hands to avoid pinching your fingers. Finish by pushing from the handle and seat base.
Method 2 of 2: Close Newer Models
Step 1. Use this method for strollers that fold with one hand
Graco makes several models of strollers, but usually mainly advertises strollers that fold with one hand. If you know the model number of the stroller, look it up online to see if these features are mentioned. If you don't know the model number, you should be able to see if this method works in no more than a minute or two.
Step 2. Remove the seat from the stroller base
The bases of the Graco SnugRider strollers are designed to be used with the car seat, and do not have a seat of their own. Unhook the seat from the frame and remove it before attempting to fold the stroller frame.
Step 3. Close the roof
The canopy over the seat, if present, should close easily against the handlebar by pushing back the front.
Step 4. Pull the strap at the seat crease
Graco strollers that fold up so that the seat ends up on the outside of the folded stroller. These models usually have a strap under the seat of the stroller, which can be pulled to allow it to close.
Strollers that fold out will sometimes not allow the tray to lock as well. Remove the tray before folding the stroller to prevent it from falling to the ground and getting dirty or scratched
Step 5. Get some extra strength for older strollers
If the stroller is rusty or dirty it may need more force to fold. Try pulling again, with a little more force, but don't try too hard and don't pry on another surface to apply more energy. If these methods don't work relatively easily, try following the instructions for folding older strollers.
