In the world we live in, trees are constantly being neglected and cut down to make room for new buildings. Read the article and find out how you can help our beloved trees and better conserve our planet.
Steps
Step 1. Recycle the smart way
Some good ways to do this are:
-
Divide the paper and cardboard from the cans, glass and plastic by throwing them in different bags.
- Ask for more information where you live to make sure your efforts are not in vain.
-
Return unwanted catalogs to the sender and ask for advertising material to be sent to you by email. Share newspapers and magazines.
Step 2. Don't make exceptions when you're in a restaurant
If the waiter offers you an extra napkin, politely decline it.
Step 3. Before printing an image or document ask yourself "Do I really need to do this?
If you are preparing school research, your teachers are likely to accept an orderly handwritten paper.
Step 4. Try to use both sides of the paper
Choose a printer with a 'duplex' function. Recycle the sheets by creating a special folder (even in the office). Insert single-sided printed sheets into the folder and use them for your notes or drafts.
Step 5. Make sure you only buy recycled paper (toilet paper, napkins, notebooks and sheets)
Step 6. Reuse the paper bags and throw the receipts and bank statements in the compost after tearing them
Step 7. Reuse the envelopes and make your own cards
Step 8. At the office, ask your boss to only buy recycled paper
Step 9. Try not to buy "glossy" magazines as they are difficult to recycle due to their coating
Step 10. Stop cutting trees
Start planting them. Trees help our planet and all human beings. People should think before cutting down a tree, "When I cut a tree, I negatively affect the life of humans and the planet."
Step 11. Reuse the wrapping paper
Even the wrapping paper is difficult to recycle.
Step 12. Write a letter to the government to raise awareness on the issue, trying to convince its members to behave correctly and to use as little paper as possible
Step 13. Finished
Advice
- Donate a small tree. When you visit your neighbor, give him a small plant.
- Use scraps of paper whenever possible. When you write down a phone number, instead of writing it down on a new sheet, take a piece of paper from the recycling bag (as long as it's not dirty or stained).
