This article explains how to sign out of your Netflix account on a Smart TV, media streaming device (such as Roku or Apple TV) or a video game console (such as an Xbox or PlayStation). All you have to do is locate the option Go out, which can be found in the settings menu.
Steps
Step 1. Open Netflix on your TV
The steps to follow vary depending on the TV, but you usually have to use the remote control to select the application Netflix. This will open the main screen of the platform.
Step 2. Go left to open the menu
The main menu is not visible when on the Home screen. You should be able to move left by pressing the left arrow or the directional button on your remote or controller.
If you don't see the menu, go up to open it
Step 3. Select Settings or the gear symbol
Some options will appear.
If you can't find "Settings" or the gear icon on the menu, use the arrows on your remote to enter this sequence: On, On, Below, Below, Left, right, Left, right, On, On, On, On. Eventually you will see the option to log out of the Netflix account.
Step 4. Select Exit
A confirmation message will appear.
If you had to enter the key sequence on the remote using the arrows, you may need to select instead Start again, Deactivate or Reset.
Step 5. Select Yes to confirm
Signing out of your Netflix account will happen immediately.
