Applications purchased through the Apple App Store don't take up iCloud storage space, but their data does. You can manually remove this information from your iCloud storage using the Settings app on an iOS device, or the "Storage" feature of a desktop computer's iCloud program. Apps installed and associated with the Apple ID that you use to log into the App Store cannot be removed from iCloud, however, if you don't want them to appear, you can hide them from the "My Purchases" page. Again, they will have no effect on the storage space tied to your iCloud account, as they physically reside on Apple's servers.
