This article explains how to find posts that you or other people have hidden from the Facebook timeline.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Find Hidden Posts on Mobile
Step 1. Open the Facebook application
The icon looks like a white F on a blue background.
If you are prompted to log in, enter your username and password, then tap "Log In"
Step 2. Tap your profile picture in the top right
Step 3. Tap Activity Log
It is located under the profile name.
Step 4. Tap Filter
It is located in the upper left. A list of options will appear.
Step 5. Tap Post You Hidden
In a new screen the list of all hidden publications will be loaded.
To see in which part of the timeline a hidden post is located, click on the publication date
Method 2 of 4: Find the Hidden Posts on the Computer
Step 1. Open Facebook
If you are prompted to log in, enter your username and password, then click "Log In"
Step 2. Click ▼
It is located at the top right. A drop-down menu will appear under the button.
Step 3. Click on Activity Log
Step 4. Click on Post You Hidden
This link can be found in the menu on the left. A new page will load with the list of all hidden posts.
To see in which part of the timeline a hidden post is located, click on the publication date
Method 3 of 4: Find Other People's Hidden Posts on Mobile
Step 1. Open the Facebook application

Step 2. Tap the search bar
It is located at the top of the page.
Step 3. Type "Post from [friend's name]"
The search bar allows you to find messages and comments posted by your friends, even if they have been hidden from the timeline.
Step 4. Tap on a search result
A page will load that will show you a list of your friend's posts, including those hidden from the timeline.
Unfortunately the search results do not distinguish between hidden and visible posts, but in any case they will all appear in this section
Method 4 of 4: Find Other User's Hidden Posts on Your Computer
Step 1. Open Facebook
If you are prompted to log in, enter your username and password, then click "Log In"
Step 2. Click on the search bar
It is located at the top of the page.
Step 3. Type "Post from [friend's name]"
With the help of the search box, you can find various messages and comments posted by your friends, even if they have been hidden from the timeline.
Step 4. Click on a search result
The page will load with a list of the friend's posts you've been looking for, including those hidden from their timeline.
