This article explains how to find downloaded files, photos and videos on an Android phone or tablet.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using a File Manager
Step 1. Open the Applications drawer
You will find the list of apps downloaded on Android. It is usually possible to open it by pressing the dots icon (there are 6 or 9) which is located at the bottom of the main screen.
Step 2. Paigia Download, My Files or File Manager
The application name varies by device.
Don't see any of these options? Then it is possible that the device does not have a file manager. Read this article to learn how to install one
Step 3. Select a folder
If you only see one, press it. Do you have a memory card? You will see two separate folders: one for the memory card and the other for internal device storage. The downloads folder is located in one of these folders, depending on your mobile phone settings.
Step 4. Pigia Download
You may need to scroll down to find this folder, which contains all the files you have downloaded on Android.
In case you don't see the downloads folder you will have to look for it in other folders
Method 2 of 2: Using Chrome
Step 1. Open Chrome
The icon looks like a colored circle and is located on the main screen. Look for it in the app drawer if you don't see it.
This method helps you find the downloaded files quickly using the Chrome browser
Step 2. Paigia ⁝
It is located at the top right.
Step 3. Pigia Download
A list of files downloaded from the web will appear.
- Do you want to view a certain file? Pajamas ☰, then select the type of file you want to see (such as "Audio" or "Pictures").
- Press the magnifying glass at the top of the screen to search for certain downloads.
