This article shows you how to see the list of people following your public posts on Facebook. It is known that being able to locate the section called "People following updates" of your Facebook profile is difficult, but enabling the option to allow people to follow your page, viewing the list of accounts you follow and updating the window browser you should be able to access your followers list. The procedure described can be performed with a computer.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Enabling Public Posting
Step 1. Log in to the Facebook website
Paste the URL https://www.facebook.com into the address bar of the internet browser. You will be redirected to the "Home" tab of your Facebook account, but only if you are already logged in.
If you have not yet logged into your Facebook account, enter your e-mail address (or phone number) and password in the appropriate text fields in the upper right corner of the screen, then click on the button Log in.
Step 2. Click the "Menu" icon
It is depicted with a small triangle and is located in the upper right corner of the page. A drop-down menu will appear.
Step 3. Click the Settings item
It is one of the options listed at the bottom of the menu that appeared. The Facebook "Settings" section will appear.
Step 4. Click Public Posts
It is one of the tabs listed on the left side of the "Settings" page.
Step 5. Click on the "Who can follow me" drop-down menu
It is located at the top right of the page. A list of options will be displayed.
Step 6. Click on the All option
It is one of the items in the menu that appeared. That way, anyone can follow your public posts.
If your chosen privacy settings only allow your friends to view the private posts you post, your followers will still not be able to see this type of content
Part 2 of 2: View Your Followers
Step 1. Verify that you are the follower of at least one user
In order to bring up the tab People followed in the "Friends" section, you must necessarily follow at least one Facebook account.
If you are not currently following anyone, access the profile of the person you want to become a follower and click on the button follow, placed in the lower right of its cover image.
Step 2. Click the tab with your name
It is located in the upper right corner of the Facebook page. This will display your Facebook Home.
Step 3. Scroll down the page and click Friends
It is placed under the cover image of your profile. The list of your Facebook friends will be displayed.
Step 4. Click the People Followed link
It should be placed on the bar inside the "Friends" section, visible in the center of the page. You'll see the list of people you follow and a list of new options.
- For the option to appear People followed you may need to click the item first Other, located in the "Friends" section (not the button Other at the bottom of your cover image).
- If the entry is present People following the updates, click it with the mouse to be able to examine the list of people who follow you.
Step 5. Click the item Allow everyone to follow me if it is available
If present, this blue button is located on the bar at the top of the tab People followed.
- After performing this step, you may need to click the button OK.
- If the option Let everyone follow me is not available for your profile, skip this step.
Step 6. Refresh the page view
Click the icon ⟳ browser or press function key F5. In this way, the card People following the updates it should appear on the bar inside the "Friends" section.
Step 7. Click the People Following Updates tab
It should be placed inside the bar located at the top of the "Friends" section. Note that you may need to click on the option again Other then click on the item People following the updates from the drop-down menu that will appear.
Step 8. Examine the list of your followers
You'll see a list of all the people who follow the public Facebook posts you've published.
