Kik is an instant messaging application that allows you to play video games and take advantage of other services. Once you have downloaded the application for your mobile device, the registration process and the use of Kik will be very simple.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Login or Register an Account
Step 1. Launch the Kik application from the 'Applications' panel of your Android device
Step 2. Press the blue 'Register' button if you don't have a Kik account yet
Step 3. Fill in the fields with the necessary information, including your first name, last name, username and password
If the information entered is correct, you will see a green check symbol appear next to the field in question. At the end press the green 'Register' button.
Step 4. Enter your username and password in the relevant text fields, then press the green 'Login' button
If you don't remember your password, select the relevant 'Forgot your password?'
Part 2 of 3: Customization and Other Settings
Step 1. Select the gear icon at the top right of the screen to access the main menu of the application
At this point, choose the options of your interest.
Part 3 of 3: Talk to Who You Want
Step 1. Select the cartoon icon located in the upper right corner of the screen
At this point, select the person you want to talk to from the list that appears. Alternatively, if a friend has provided you with their Kik username, you can use the related search field at the top of the screen to locate them.
Step 2. After selecting the person to chat with, start composing your message using the text field at the bottom of the screen
To add smileys you can select the relative icon next to the text input field. Alternatively, press the '+' symbol, then select the 'Gallery' icon to attach an image from your gallery, or select the 'Camera' icon to take a picture of your surroundings.
