Summer is the most awaited period of the year because you are free from school commitments. To spend a pleasant summer, it is not necessary to travel or do something expensive; these are optional. You just have to be active and busy and have some open-mindedness.
Steps
Step 1. Find comfortable clothes and shoes for the summer, depending on what you will do
Look for the things you like and feel comfortable with.
Step 2. Turn off the TV
Unplug the DVD player. Go out and get some fresh air. Don't spend most of your time indoors.
Step 3. Find a park to play in in the evening
Walks in the park might be one of the best summer activities. Find a dead end street and cycle (five to ten laps a day are recommended). Cycling is an excellent way to keep fit and stay busy at any time of the year.
Step 4. Keep fit
Play a sport you enjoy. Go swimming in the pool, an excellent cure for summer boredom.
Step 5. If you are passionate about music, join a marching band
Music bands are the perfect way to have fun, meet new people and not get bored during the summer.
Step 6. Keep in touch with friends and family
Ask your friends and family what they are doing to get some ideas.
Step 7. If you get bored someday, contact a friend of yours
Invite him to sleep at your house, or have a chat. If all your friends are on vacation, try something else. You may even make new friends.
Step 8. Do some reading if you think you're bored
If you don't like books, subscribe to a magazine or comic.
Step 9. Find someone who needs help with their job
Doing a summer job is sure to keep you busy.
Step 10. Visit your city's museums or theme parks
Museums will help you pass the time as well as deepen your knowledge.
Step 11. Get a makeover
Paint your nails, get a new haircut etc. Try some perfumes at the mall. There are testers you can use, without purchasing the product.
Step 12. There are no limits
If you have an idea, no matter how ridiculous and crazy it may be (as long as it's not illegal), put it into action! If you think you can't do it, get help.
Step 13. Stay active
Do something like play a sport or join a club. At least get a job.
Step 14. Organize a game with the neighbors
Play hide-and-seek or cops and robbers in a nearby park / pitch with lots of hiding places during the night. Don't forget the flashlights and walkie talkies!
Advice
- Keep an agenda with the most important phone numbers to keep in touch with your friends.
- Go to the library. If you don't have a card, ask your parents to accompany you to help you get one.
- Attend a summer camp. Find a cheap one in your area and ask your friend if they want to accompany you. It is not necessary to attend it for the duration of the summer, a few weeks are enough when you have no other commitments.
- You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer in most places.
Warnings
- Sheltered from the sun during the hottest hours of the day.
- When doing outdoor activities, don't forget to drink plenty of water! You don't want to risk getting dehydrated.
- Do not do anything that could put your own safety or that of others at risk. Summer should be a period reserved for fun. If you are a minor, having fun does not mean drinking alcohol or doing other illegal activities. It is better to watch a movie.
- Use sunscreen to avoid sunburn.
