You play football? Have you always dreamed of scoring a spectacular goal at the crossroads? Would you like to know how to do it? Well, now your chance to become a champion!
Steps
Step 1. Stand behind the ball with your "weak" foot next to the ball
Step 2. Bring the kicking leg back and drop it towards the ball, hitting it with the inside or the instep (not the toe
). Bringing the knee over the ball, kick it with the instep, while the toe is oriented towards the ground. But if you really want to be the strongest player in the league, or in the school, don't just kick with the "good" foot. Usually one foot will be better than the other, but by working hard on the weaker one you will be able to make it just as strong and precise.
Step 3. Learn to aim
It means first of all kicking into the mirror of the goal. You have to follow a few steps to aim "before" kicking.
-
Decide where you intend to place the ball. By keeping one foot next to the ball, you can kick in any direction. If the big toe points to the left, you will kick to the left. The same will happen by moving it to the right. Never look in the same direction you are kicking, otherwise the goalkeeper will understand your intentions. If you want to feint, look in one direction for about three seconds, then kick in the opposite direction.
Step 4. Focus on the ball
-
Choose whether to lean back or over the ball. If you lean back the ball will go high, in the other case it will stay low.
-
Hit the ball with the inside of your foot.
Step 5. Do exercises for the thighs and calves
-
Take a run. It will allow you to kick with more power, or with precision. In some cases accuracy may be more important, and you will only have to worry about placing the ball in the right place.
Step 6. Try to kick with the instep, at the level of the laces
You will hit the ball with a wider surface, getting the maximum power to kick from a distance.
Step 7. Lock the ankle in an upright position when kicking the neck
Bring your knee over the ball to kick more accurately.
Advice
- Try to control the ball and look at the goalkeeper's position before kicking.
- Do not hit the ball with your toes, and avoid shooting at goal from too difficult positions. There will probably be a partner in a better position.
- Before kicking, focus your attention on the ball.
- Do not shoot too often during games, they will tell you that you are a selfish player. To prevent this from happening, pass the ball to teammates.
- If you are still an inexperienced player, do not try to give the ball the effect and avoid flying kicks (by hitting the ball when it is still suspended in the air).
Warnings
- Try to aim the ball towards the corners of the goal (or at the intersection of the goalposts). It will be difficult for the goalkeeper to block the shot.
- Learn to kick confidently from both left and right, this will make you a complete player. Practice kicking against the wall or with a friend. Mark a wall to improve accuracy.
- For more experienced players: Kick the ball from a distance (for example from 16m), the goalkeeper may be surprised.
- Kick the ball when it comes towards you. Lean down on the ball otherwise the shot may go too high.
- Pretend to kick, your opponent may be confused for a moment.
- Get used to playing in all positions on the pitch if you want to have a future in the world of football.
- Try to put your foot under the ball when you understand it, to lift it slightly.
- Hit the ball with the inside of your foot. In this way you will give an effective trajectory. You can achieve the same result with the outside of the foot.
- Try to hit the ball when it is still high, in front of the goal, it will be more effective.
- Hit the ball on the fly, the shot could be more powerful.
