Sometimes, in a highly confused and ambiguous society, we easily lose our way and may be led to believe that no one in the world needs us. Although it may seem that the sun is always setting, remember that somewhere on the globe someone may think that it is always being born. The beauty of your life is having the ability to completely change it, based on what you want to see.
Steps
Step 1. Don't stop believing
Think of the whole life on planet Earth. How could all this have happened? No matter who you decide to believe in, there is something special out there. Maybe you should be able to see it yourself or maybe you should help someone else do it. You choose the perspective!
Step 2. Those who fear change do not change
So don't be afraid. If you don't feel important or if you feel inadequate you need to make a change to live differently. Maybe you should just try something new, catch up with old friends, make new friends, or start a small band. Broaden your horizons and do something that isn't based on your efforts alone. Friends always impact each other.
Step 3. Choose teamwork, you are not alone
You have something that can be given and that can change someone's life. Sometimes our time is the most precious thing we can give to each other.
Step 4. Embrace a religion
Many people find purpose in believing in something powerful. Religion is a great way to change your perspective and even if you don't believe you will have a chance to meet new people.
Step 5. Find yourself
Of course if you had a map you could mark where you are, but maybe you might be looking for a guide.
Step 6. It is not necessary to change the world
We do not live in a ruthless society, there are numerous paths to take and multiple paths to follow. The person you need to be important to is yourself.
Step 7. Many people have done selfless actions, and haven't even noticed it
But even if you don't know, the recipient of your kind actions is probably very grateful to you. Simply offering a piece of bread you don't even remember may have been important to someone who was unable to make a living for the day. Your kindness may have improved the mood of the person who received it by putting them in the right conditions to successfully pass a job interview. If you hadn't existed, he probably wouldn't have gotten that job, and he might still be in trouble. Every day you perform numerous kind gestures that you do not even realize, while impacting in an important way on others.
Step 8. Understand the impact you have had on the world
In your mind, you may simply be a face in the crowd, a pair of hands among many, and an ordinary imperfect human being. But you are wrong. Your attitude defines everything about you, and all attitudes are contagious. Consider changing your attitudes if you feel they are not the right ones.
- Choose a correct attitude. By simply smiling at whoever you meet you will be able to increase the chances that both of you are having a good day. The simple act of smiling will make you happy, and your good mood will become contagious.
- Don't spread your negative attitudes. When you're having a bad day, and can't get away from that bad mood, don't let others get caught up in it. Do your best to show a smile throughout the day. You will make the people around you happier and, most likely, after lots of smiles, you will become happier yourself. By offering others a frown, your negative vibes will expand and ruin their day as well
Step 9. Understand what you are capable of
Understand that if you really try, you can get whatever you want. If you truly believe enough in something, and make a continuous effort to support your beliefs, in the world, you will make a difference. Most of the famous people you've heard of have made a big impact on the world and made a difference, mostly positively. And others you've never heard of have affected your everyday life anyway. For example Rosalind Franklin, if it weren't for this unknown woman we wouldn't know what DNA looks like. If she herself thought she couldn't make a difference in the world, we'd probably be in the dark now.
Advice
- Always make an effort to help those in need.
- We are all on Earth for a reason, you are on earth too, aren't you?
- Respect and explore religions. Humans who believe in a higher power, through for example Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, or a simpler path of spirituality, share a sense of self-importance in the world as well as a sense of peace. and inner strength, whatever the way they decide to relate to God.
- Understand who you are before trying to understand what your importance is in the world.
- Religion can help you understand your purpose in life.
- Get perspective. Volunteer, even just for an hour or two such as distributing food for people in need. The volunteer experience is genuinely "win to win." Not only will you offer help to others, by taking this opportunity you will also gain satisfaction, appreciation and fulfillment.
