Always being clean means constantly taking care of yourself and your appearance. A freshly laundered shirt will allow you to have a well-groomed look and be ready for school or work, but what's underneath your clothes is also important. Someone tries to hide the bad smell by abounding with perfume and thinking of deceiving others. On the other hand, putting on a deodorant or cologne without washing will make it clear even more that you are trying to cover up bad smells and poor personal hygiene. Being clean is essential not only to look good, but also to be in good health. Shower every day and freshen up as soon as you get the chance - bathrooms are everywhere. Washing your hands, in particular, will allow you to eliminate germs that can cause illness. In short, remember that taking care of your personal hygiene is essential to feel good and make a good impression.
Steps
Step 1. Remove the nail polish when it starts to flake
Nothing makes hands look messy more than poorly-groomed nails. Clean under their tips with a special brush and do not eat them.
Step 2. Wash your hands every time you go to the bathroom and before eating
- Create a lather with the soap; do it from fingers to wrists. Rinse and repeat. Also, rub it between your fingers.
- Wash your hands up to the elbows. Rub your forearm and elbow (especially focus on this area) with your hands as you go. Repeat and rinse.
Step 3. Take care of your oral hygiene
- Brush your teeth at least twice a day, which is when you wake up and before bed. Use mouthwash after each brush for fresh, clean breath and to kill bacteria that cause tooth decay and odor.
- Rinse your mouth and gargle after eating and if you think you have bad breath.
- Use a toothpick after eating to remove any remaining food particles between your teeth.
Step 4. Wash your face after getting up (do it in the shower) and before going to sleep
- Wash your eyes with water and clean your nose. Pull up the water with your nostrils.
- Lather with the detergent or soap. you have to cover the whole face, reaching up to the hairline and under the chin.
-
Clean your ears. You can use either the tip of a towel or your fingers to wipe the inside, outside and back. If you will be using your fingers, run your index finger through the furrows and holes of the ears, while using your thumb on the back.
Adults should use a cotton swab carefully to get rid of the wax build-ups that form in the area near the inner ear. Never insert it all the way into the ear itself
- Wash your neck. There is nothing worse than having a perfectly clean face and traces of dirt on your neck. There is no need to use soap to freshen it up throughout the day, just rinse it on the front and back.
Step 5. Wash your feet
Muslims practice wudu several times a day, but you don't have to belong to this religious faith to do it too. You should try it especially if you sweat a lot or to prevent bad smells. Make sure you wash the soles and heels and the areas between the toes.
Step 6. Shower at least once a day, in the morning or in the evening, this depends on your preferences and lifestyle
This means rubbing your entire body well, bending over and washing hard-to-reach areas, such as your back (use a special sponge).
Advice
- People are also judged on their nails. Even the most well-groomed women there are can look unkempt and dirty if the nail polish is chipped or dirt has accumulated under the nails.
- Over-washing could remove the skin's protective oil and result in dry, cracked, or red skin. If this happens to you, use only small amounts of neutral, fragrance-free soaps, such as those from Dove. Do you have sensitive skin? Before using a cleaner, do a test. Apply a small, diluted amount to the inside of your wrist. If you don't notice itching or redness after 20 minutes, you can use it without problems. In some cases, having a certain fixation towards cleanliness or overdoing personal hygiene indicates an obsessive-compulsive disorder or other mental illness.
- Take care of your body and learn to love it.
- Don't wait until your feet are wet with sweat and bad breath. Try incorporating hand, face, and foot washing into a single cleansing routine (for example, inspired by wudu), which you can practice at regular intervals throughout the day.
- Take a shower every day.
- Nail care is not a female prerogative. Men should do it too, perhaps by turning to a beautician. A well-groomed man has clean, filed and cuticle-free nails.
- If you are a woman, look at male hands when watching a movie or TV show. Also try it on means of transport, such as a bus or train. You can also look at the hands of the person you are dating. Have the cuticles been cut? Are the nails filed well? Are they clean underneath? Are they bright and healthy? A man's hands must be taken into consideration because they are an indication of the care he reserves for his body. Obviously the same goes for a woman.
