Are you a big fan of Harry Potter and want to be one of the characters in the saga for Halloween? Did you find Helena Bonham Carter's performance simply fantastic that you want to be Bellatrix at all costs? Making the Bellatrix costume is surprisingly easy. All you need is makeup, wig and clothes. And of course a 12-inch and three-quarter-inch magic wand in walnut and dragon's heart!
Steps
Step 1. Build or buy the wand
On the internet you can find numerous tutorials on how to build the wand.
Step 2. Make or get used a long, black and super simple skirt
Take a silver marker or silver paint and draw circles on the edge. If it isn't already there, make a gash behind the skirt or on one side.
Step 3. Buy a dark long-sleeved shirt
Cut the sleeves and reattach them leaving the ribbon or leather cord loose, so that the sleeves are 3-4 cm away from the arm holes. Trim the edges of the cuffs to make them fray. You can also add a lace along the edges. If that's still not enough, cut a V-neck, then pinch or pinch the base of the V-neck a few inches lower to make it ruffle. Sew around the ruffle to keep the shape. You can further decorate as you like.
Step 4. Alternatively, you can cut the sleeves to three-quarter length and draw the Black Mark on your arm with a permanent marker, henna or black eyeliner
Step 5. Get a piece of vinyl, leather, or other similar material
It must be as long as it is heavy, black and strong. Basically, use it to create the bustier Bella is wearing in this figure. If you want, you can weave it. A tip is to draw only some seams or decorations with a black, silver or gold permanent marker.
Step 6. Put on the fishnet stockings
Add silver jewelry, such as necklaces, rings, and drop earrings. Also wear black high heels.
Step 7. Buy some fake nails to apply, and file them, but NOT too much
Leave them long enough. Color them red, black or bronze.
Step 8. Prepare your hair
If you take a wig, get a very voluminous and black, rather curly one. Then, take some white paint and, using the brush of an old mascara, make a single strip of white hair or dye half of the hair. If you already have long, black hair, all you have to do is curl it the night before and then ruffle it. Many hedgehogs will become limp. Buy a white / silver dye and spray it on your hair, or just make a streak. You can also try doing your braids the night before and then loosening them.
Step 9. Put on your makeup
Don't wear too much black makeup, you're dressing like Bellatrix and not Elvira. Instead, use a shade of foundation that is slightly lighter than your skin. Use a brownish or gray eyeshadow, blend the shadow on your eyelids, then create a slight smokey-eye effect. Now, add some shades to the corners of the eyes and curve them down to highlight the bags under the eyes. Then, put a little brown or gray eyeshadow under the cheekbones and along the sides of the nose to create a sharp and pale expression. Finally, the lipstick: use a very, very pale color, not a dark red or black, as everyone does. Add some lip gloss. Basically, make up your lips as you usually do. After all, it must make sense to dress up as her. Remember that, in their youth, all three Black sisters were extremely beautiful.
Step 10. You can always add other details as well, such as putting on a push-up bra to maximize your qualities or "dirtying" your Halloween costume to give it an "escape from Azkaban" look
