Want some very effective itchy powder to use on an irritating individual? Do you want to make a match? Well, this article explains two "recipes" to annoy these people more than they ever did with you. Remember that the effect of these substances will also last for an hour. Also read the warnings section before preparing the itchy powder.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using Roses ("Juliet and Romeo" Remedy)
Step 1. Cut a fresh rose just below the flower so that part of the stem remains attached
Step 2. Place the rose in a dark, dry place so it will die faster
Step 3. Remove the small formations that look like fruits
When the flower dies, you will find small green elements inside that look like fruits (pods). Collect them.
Step 4. Cut the "pod" in half with a knife, inside there will be a substance similar to cotton
Step 5. With the help of a toothpick, scrape this substance into a bowl
It is cetyl alcohol, a mechanical irritant that "scratches" the skin and causes itching. So be careful not to touch it with your bare hands.
Step 6. Put the bowl containing the cetyl alcohol next to another cup containing boiling water
The cetyl will swell.
- You can put a cloth over the bowls, so the cetyl alcohol will absorb even more steam.
- The water must not come into contact with the substance, which must be rehydrated but not wet.
- When it has become swollen enough (after 10-15 minutes), the cetyl alcohol is ready for the next phase.
Step 7. Expose it to direct sunlight
After about an hour it should have dried up to become a powder. It is now ready to use.
Step 8. Throw the dust at the person, even works through clothes
Method 2 of 2: Using Maple Seeds (Less Powerful)
At the beginning of autumn, the maple trees release small brown seeds in the air that look like "helicopters" and that people call "rides". These pods are green when not ripe (spring and summer) but then turn brown. When they are dry, they fall from the tree with a graceful spiral movement.
The seeds are covered with a thin hair similar to a multitude of splinters, the same that you find in the stinging powders that are on the market. To remove this "merry-go-round" hair follow this procedure:
Step 1. Place a blank sheet of paper on a flat surface
Step 2. Grab a maple pod with one hand, holding it on the "helix" side with your thumb and forefinger
The actual suit must dangle towards the card.
Step 3. Rub two pods against each other over the sheet and you will see that the fluff will begin to come off and fall on the sheet
Step 4. Repeat the same operation with about twenty seeds
You should get a teaspoon of splinters. This is the main ingredient of the itchy powders that you can find on the market. Even a small amount will have a huge effect!
You can also scrape the seeds with a razor blade, but the technique described above is more effective. In fact, the use of the blade can prove to be problematic: you could also scratch the "peel" of the seed and risk cutting your fingers
Step 5. Pour a small amount of itchy powder on the victim's back and you will see that he will scratch for quite a while
Step 6. Store leftovers in a resealable bag or envelope
Advice
- Dry the "fluff" of the maple seeds to obtain a more effective "stinging powder".
- Do not heat the cetyl alcohol, otherwise the powder will have no effect (the microwave destroys the structure of the cetyl).
Warnings
- These are stinging powders and therefore serious. Do not place them near the eyes, lips or inside the body. They are particularly annoying in the armpits.
- Do not ingest cetyl alcohol.
- Wear gloves when handling these powders.
- Don't use powders on loved ones, only those you want to irritate.
- Do not put cetyl alcohol in contact with your lips or eyes.
- Remember that under the laws of your state, you may also be charged with personal injury. Also know that the use of irritating powders could cause an allergic reaction to the victim with even fatal consequences.
