If you want to become a good laser tag player but are having difficulties and think you need help, read this article, it will be useful!
Steps
Step 1. If possible, choose the dark colored team
Colors like fluorescent green / blue will make it easier for you to locate your position.
Step 2. Divide the team by tasks; for example, one part of the team placed at the top and one at the bottom
Step 3. The players below will form the attacking group, and will also have the task of ambushing the opponents
Remain perfectly still until the enemy enters your area.
- Lying on the ground over the weapon will make you less locatable.
- Then, follow the opponent until you are in an advantageous position, at the best distance to shoot and in a useful place to be able to retreat or advance.
- The top group, the defense group, should be further divided in half, possibly into groups of 2-3 people, to identify and repel the enemy.
Step 4. If the enemy tries to escape, get a support group into action that can chase and eliminate them
Step 5. Upstairs, adopt military tactics
If you have been spotted, you don't have to stand still in one spot, vice versa move to different areas to surprise your opponents.
Step 6. Crouch when the enemy is near
Step 7. If allowed, there is always a point where you can jump over and go to the other playing area
Step 8. If an enemy is re-entering the game, follow them carefully and, if there are any dividing panels, make good use of them
The dividing panels are particularly useful for members of the attack group, who can peek from above and quickly crouch or shoot when the enemy arrives
Step 9. Make sure your team members know the rules of the game
Also, work out a team tactic.
Step 10. Name your team, just for fun
You can also come up with a war cry, like "FOR THE ARMY OF FREEDOM!", Or something like that.
Step 11. If an opponent does not let you re-enter the game (he shoots you continuously as soon as you come back to life), bring him to the referee
Step 12. Follow the safety rules
- If you get hurt, or someone else gets hurt, call for help. It doesn't matter if they locate you, health comes first!
- Never shoot in the face!
Step 13. When entering the battlefield, keep hidden until the game begins, then move, don't stand still in one spot
Step 14. Keep moving
- Moving constantly confuses the enemy. Standing still in one spot, you may not notice your companions' movements and become easy prey for the enemy.
- The enemy could locate you and point out your position to his teammates, with the probable risk of being surrounded. Unless you want to set off a trap (which MUST have been planned in advance with your team), run away.
Step 15. If you get hit or tired, hide somewhere and wait a bit, until your lights come back on or you have regained your energy
Step 16. Quickly crouch if you get hit
Shoot the enemy just before your lights come on, before he can shoot you. Be that as it may, certain arenas prohibit this type of behavior (and with good reason!). Make sure you understand the rules of the game before doing this
Step 17. Cover your lights / sensors (as far as the game rules allow)
Some places forbid it, so get informed about the regulations in force.
Step 18. At the end of the day, get experience, spend the time pleasantly, improve and most of all, HAVE FUN
Advice
- Try to backfire your opponents' plans against themselves.
- Find out where the enemies are hiding and locate their sniper.
- Closed shoes (such as trainers) are the ideal choice. Choose shoes with a good grip on the ground and with which you can run. Sandals, heeled shoes and flip-flops are not suitable, as wearing them can lead to foot or ankle injuries. If you are unsure what to wear, ask the local staff for advice.
- Make hand gestures to communicate with your teammates, as yelling would make you spot easily.
- Weapons often have special names. Choose the one you prefer, it can help. Familiarize yourself with it and get used to using it, this will make you feel more comfortable on the battlefield.
Warnings
- Never ignore the referee's signals, you could be expelled from the game or even excluded from any future match!
- Don't rush too hard. Better to go at a moderate speed.
- Never shoot in the face, especially in the eyes. It hurts!
- Be cautious, you could be hit at any time.
