Galaxies are an enchanting sight to many people and slime is a fun and useful "pastime" that many enjoy playing with. Why not combine the two and create a cute slime that is also pleasing to the eye? A stretchy, shimmering slime that resembles the universe is fun to make as well as to touch, stretch and squeeze!

Ingrediants

  • 360 ml of transparent liquid glue (can be replaced by the classic white glue, but with the transparent one you get a better result)
  • 300 ml of water
  • Dark blue food coloring
  • Black food coloring
  • Pink food coloring
  • Purple food coloring
  • Fine glitter
  • Normal glitter
  • 1 teaspoon of Borax (4.9 ml)

Steps

Make Galaxy Slime Step 1

Step 1. Add 1 teaspoon of Borax to 300ml of hot water

Mix them well and then set the solution aside to cool.

Step 2. Divide the glue into three bowls

Pour about 120ml of glue into each.

Step 3. Pour 100ml of water into each bowl

Step 4. Add the blue dye and the black dye to the first

Step 5. Add the pink dye in the second

Step 6. Add the purple dye in the third

Step 7. Pour both types of glitter into each bowl

Step 8. Use a stick to mix glue, water, food coloring and glitter

Once mixed well, all the ingredients will be evenly blended and no more lumps will form in certain areas.

It is possible to mix with a spoon, but it is not recommended. The mixture may stick to the curvature of the tool and may be difficult to remove

Step 9. Pour one third of the borax mixture into a bowl

Stir quickly and thoroughly as the slime components begin to blend.

Step 10. Do the same procedure with the other two blends

Step 11. Knead the slime with your hands

At this point, if it is still slightly watery, continue kneading so that it can acquire a denser consistency.

Step 12. Carefully combine the slimes together by mixing them together

Do not work them too much or they will end up losing their initial color.

Step 13. Play with your shimmering galaxy slime

Store it in a sealed container or plastic bag.

Advice

  • You don't have to use borax. You can replace it with liquid starch, liquid detergent for washing machines, contact lens solution, or a saline solution.
  • Adding star-shaped confetti to the slime will make it look even more galactic.
  • Alternatively, you can make slime by mixing glue, water, and liquid detergent in a bowl.
  • Don't use too much glue or the slime will become too sticky.
  • White glue still works if you don't have clear glue, but clear glue is preferable.

Warnings

  • Glitter can get dirty easily; playing with this slime you may find it on your hands.
  • The colors will naturally blend together if you knead the slime for a long time.
