Steps
Step 1. Get the necessary materials
If you want a top-tier camp and have money to spend, you can buy some new wood and sandbags. But you should first look for waste wood, barrels, in short, for things that you can find abandoned on the road. Get help from friends.
Step 2. Find the right place to build the playground, near your home or in the neighborhood
A courtyard with a shack might be fine. Or you can buy a piece of land near your home to have a bigger field. Remember that it may be illegal to play airsoft in a public place in your country.
Step 3. Dig holes and trenches as covers
Step 4. Place tires, barrels, tables, sandbags, and anything else that can provide cover in the field
Step 5. Mark targets clearly with paint, sticker or whatever, as long as it works
Be creative.
Step 6. Make a bunker out of an old shed or build a new one out of wood
Step 7. Place trees or bushes to hide behind
Step 8. Always check that there are no animals in the field
You certainly don't want to annoy someone's dog!
Step 9. Create several areas that are recognizable by all
A pile of wood can become "the fort". An open space can become "the field". In this way you will make the different parts of the playing field distinguishable, favoring communication between players.
Step 10. If you build the camp at the back of the house, make sure that nobody can shoot at the windows
Advice
- Before you start building, make a plan. Start by drawing a map of the course you have in mind.
- Be creative! Make your playing field unique, adapting it to your needs.
- Build the field according to the type of game you intend to play, so as not to place unnecessary structures.
- Establish rules, such as the maximum number of players on the pitch. Mark off the entrance for the players.
- Have fun!
- If your group is small, the field will need to be equally small.
- Do not play in public places.
- Advertise your field.
Warnings
- Do not play in a busy area.
- Always ask permission from the landowner before using it.
- At least one person must have a mobile phone with them in case of an accident.
- Make sure the bushes are thornless.
- If required by law, notify the police before starting the game. Comply with their requests.
