Steps
Method 1 of 2: Call eBay Directly
Step 1. Call eBay customer service at 1-866-540-3229
eBay receives calls Monday through Friday, 5am to 10pm PST, or on weekends from 6am to 6pm PST.
Step 2. Press # when prompted, then press "1"
Step 3. Press # again and then press 0
An operator will respond within approximately 12 minutes of waiting.
Alternatively, you can contact eBay at 1-866-643-1587, press "4" in the Main Menu, followed by "6" and, press Account. However, following this second method it could take up to 18 minutes for an operator to respond
Method 2 of 2: Call eBay using My eBay
Step 1. Go to eBay at https://www.ebay.com/ and click on "My eBay" in the upper right corner
Step 2. Log into your eBay account using your eBay email address and password
Step 3. Click on "Customer Service" in the upper left corner of the eBay page
Step 4. Click on "Contact eBay"
Step 5. Focus on the category that best describes your problem
You can report problems with "Purchases", "Sale" or "Account".
Step 6. Select the reason for your support request from the options provided in the chosen category
For example, if you are the seller and your listing has been removed from eBay, select "My Listing Has Been Removed" from the "For Sale" category.
Step 7. Select a call option from the problem description screen
You can choose to call eBay, or be contacted by an eBay representative.
If you are not given call options for that issue, you can proceed to method # 2 in this article to call eBay directly
Step 8. Call eBay at the number provided on the screen and enter the code (valid for one use only) that was provided to you
You will now be connected by an eBay representative.
