This tutorial shows the correct procedure for cloning your pokemon and inventory items by playing Pokemon Emerald.
Steps
Step 1. Head to the 'Battle Tower', one of the seven buildings located within the 'Battle Frontier'
Step 2. Log in to the computer on your right, then deposit a pokemon inside the box
Step 3. Save your game and log out of your computer
Step 4. After saving the game, collect your pokemon
Step 5. Go to the young lady near the computer
Select any level, the choice is not relevant to the success of the cloning. Now select 2 pokemon for the fight.
Step 6. After selecting 2 pokemon, there will be two pauses in the game
During the first, don't turn off your device. At the end the lady will ask you if you would like to save the game before entering a 'Battle Room'. Now turn off your GameBoy Advanced or Nintendo DS.
Step 7. Turn on your console again and log into your computer again
In the box where you deposited your pokemon during the first step, you should find your clone.
Step 8. If you wish, you can attempt to clone up to 5 pokemon at a time, as well as items in your inventory, by depositing your pokemon while they are using them
Advice
- On the first try, try this procedure with a low-key pokemon to make sure everything is working correctly.
- This procedure works because saving the game within the 'Battle Tower' section is limited to saving the contents of your inventory and your pokemon. It is possible to clone a maximum of 6 pokemon at a time, but one of them will be lost forever during the process
