Minecraft graphics may not appeal to everyone. This tutorial shows how to install a new 'texture' pack in Minecraft PE. Customizing Minecraft PE, unlike the PC version, can be very complex. However with some extra effort you will still be able to install the desired changes. Read on to find out more.
Steps
Step 1. Locate the 'texture' pack you want to install
Step 2. Download the relevant ZIP file to your computer
Step 3. Connect your mobile device to the computer using its USB cable
Step 4. Copy your 'texture' pack files to your mobile device's SD card
Make sure the filename follows the following format 'PE_filename.zip'
Step 5. Launch the 'PocketTool' application
Step 6. Select the 'Install Downloaded Content' item, then choose the 'Textures' option
Step 7. Select and hold the file you want to install, you should see a confirmation message appear on the screen
Select the 'Yes' button.
Step 8. Enter the 'Pocket Tool' settings menu and select the 'Apply Changes' option
If you get a warning about uninstalling Minecraft, don't worry, Minecraft will be reinstalled immediately along with the selected updates
Step 9. Launch Minecraft PE, create a new world and have fun with your new texture pack
