Do you love cats, especially Pusheen? This kitty is a cartoon character developed by Claire Belton and Andrew Duff for the "Everyday Cute" website. If you want to learn how to draw it, follow the instructions in this article which will guide you through all the steps necessary to outline the various elements until you realize that you have made the whole cat.
Steps
Step 1. Start with the ears
- Draw two triangles without bases.
- Draw a line connecting them, you can use a ruler (optional).
Step 2. Make the animal's body to define the face as well
Draw a curved line starting at the right ear and extend it according to how tall you want the cat to be
Step 3. Define Pusheen's legs
- Outline a semicircle aligned with each ear.
- Draw a line between the legs.
- Draw a horizontal line that starts from one leg and is longer than the segment joining the first two. For example, if the segment joining the first two legs is 1.5cm long, the line you are drawing must be longer.
- Define the other pair of legs and connect them with a segment as long as the one joining the first two.
Step 4. Take care of the animal's back
- Draw another curved line that starts from the hind leg and reaches the height of the ears.
- Connect the end of the curve to the base of the left ear using a straight line.
Step 5. Outline the muzzle
- Draw two points for the eyes.
- Draw a vertical line dividing downward with two curved segments upward.
- Draw two lines on each side of the muzzle for the whiskers.
