A Moscow Mule is a cocktail that is made with vodka, ginger beer and lime (ginger beer is an infusion of ginger, water, sugar and lime). This refreshing cocktail is also slightly spicy and bitter.

Servings: 1 cocktail
- 30 ml of vodka
- 1/2 lime
- 150 ml of ginger beer
- Ice in cubes
Decoration:
1 slice of lime
Ginger Beer
Servings: enough to prepare about 6 cocktails
- 120 g of fresh ginger
- 1 liter of water
- 15 ml of lime juice
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar

Method 1 of 2: Making a Moscow Mule
Step 1. Get a Collins model glass, which is tall and straight
It is similar to the Highball glass, but taller.
Step 2. Pour the ice into the glass
Don't fill it completely, just reach the middle of the glass.
Step 3. Squeeze the lime and pour the juice into the glass
Then add the zest.
Step 4. Pour the vodka into the glass
Measure it and mix it with the lime.
Step 5. Add the ginger beer
The ginger beer should be cold. You can make it yourself using the recipe that follows in the second part of the article.
Step 6. Decorate the drink with a lime wedge
Cut into the rind and part of the pulp and put it on the rim of the glass.
Step 7. Add a cocktail stick
Serve immediately.
Method 2 of 2: Making Ginger Beer
Step 1. Grate the ginger
Start with 120 grams of ginger, peel it and then grate it finely.
Step 2. Measure and bring 1 liter of water to a boil
Step 3. Incorporate the ginger and lime
Pour the grated ginger into the water. Squeeze the lime juice and add it to the mixture. Cover the pot with the lid, and let the ginger beer sit for about an hour.
Step 4. Incorporate the brown sugar
Two tablespoons will be enough.
Step 5. Filter the ginger beer
Use a colander to hold in the ginger and lime pulp. Squeeze it carefully to release all its flavor.
Step 6. Pour the ginger beer into an airtight container and place it in the refrigerator
You can keep it in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks, although the best results are obtained by enjoying it as soon as it is ready.
