Mushroom XIII is a Kingdom Hearts II mini game which you must complete to unlock Sora's golden crown. To defeat the fungus n. 10, and its counterpart Organization XIII, it will take quick reflexes and steady nerves because this enemy is very skilled. The goal is to defeat the right mushroom in 55 seconds.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Prepare the Character
Step 1. Find mushroom no. 10
Go to the island of death in Port Royale (world of pirates of the Caribbean).
Head inside the cave and keep going until you reach the ninth Moonlight Nook; this is the area before the enemy (where you challenged Barbosa)
Step 2. Equip Rumbling Rose
You will need to do more damage by bypassing the second normal combo and immediately execute 2 finishers.
Part 2 of 2: Challenge the Mushroom # 10
Step 1. Press ∆ to start the fight
Step 2. Run fast (analog stick + hold □) straight to the entrance
It is the best place from which you can check the whole area and the movements of the mushrooms.
Step 3. Pause the game as soon as the mushrooms move
It's a cheap technique but it works. Keep using this method while the mushrooms mix, so you will be able to better track the mushroom to defeat.
Step 4. Run fast towards the mushrooms and go against the right one
Step 5. Attack it quickly
You won't be able to attack him right away at first.
Step 6. Run back to the entrance
Step 7. Repeat the break strategy again
As you keep following the right mushroom, you will be able to attack it longer.
Step 8. Do it until you defeat him
It will be difficult at first but eventually you will get used to the movements by practicing.
Advice
- Always approach the mushroom before attacking it, if you don't Sora could attack another mushroom so wrong.
- Don't use Final Form, you may hit other mushrooms while performing this attack. If you accidentally attack a mushroom that is not # 10, it will be considered a mistake and you will be attacked by the clones.
