Step 1. Purchase Minecraft on the Android shop and App store

There is also a free (demo) version where you can add blocks, build houses and add zombies, just like in the full version. For the most complete and up-to-date experience possible, however, it is advisable to choose the full version. If you can't connect to the App Store or the Android shop, you should be able to find a link by searching the internet.

Step 2. Make a world

To create the world, enter the game and click on Play. Then press New in the upper right corner of the screen. You can also enter a seed if you have one. There are 2 modes:

  • Choose Survival Mode. It is the mode in which it is possible to kill monsters and build a house. In this mode, you can collect your own gems, get injured and die.
  • Try Creative Mode. In this mode you can try your hand at creating anything, using unlimited blocks and objects. Monsters are not available in this mode, unless you make them appear; in addition, you can also fly. It is also the best way to start a project. The only way to die is to fall below the world (breaking the rocky bed).

Step 3. Get used to the controls

Jump (middle button), left (left button), right (right button), forward (top button), back (bottom button), fly (creative mode: double click the jump button to start flying. go up, hold the jump button and click on the forward button), break blocks (click and hold on the object you want to break), attack enemies (click on a monster). The commands are always the same on all devices.

Step 4. Start creating objects

Get a work table and start making weapons, blocks, tools etc. The work tables can be made with 4 wooden boards, taken from the trees and then worked in the appropriate way.

Step 5. Build a house

To build a house you will first have to find a spot you like. You can find out more about building blocks for a house in the tips section. There are so many different ways to do this - to complete one, you will probably need several blocks. For the first night it is better to build a simple shelter. You can build a hut out of mud, wood, or stone, or hole up in a mountain or hill. You could also just dig a hole in the ground.

Step 6. Heat the furnace and start working the metal

You will first have to create a furnace with the work table: the only items you will need are 8 pebbles, which you can find by undermining stones with a pickaxe. The other tools will not work, if you try it you will go very slow and you will not be able to collect anything.

Step 7. Mina

To mine you will need the necessary equipment: at least one pickaxe (wood, stone, iron or diamond) and several torches. If you want to be really prepared, get a pickaxe, a spade, 2 buckets and at least 32 pebbles, some food and a sword. To mine you will have to venture underground: you can find gold, diamonds, iron, coal, red stones, emeralds and lapis lazuli. You can undermine by taking long steps downwards, but NEVER UNDERWAY BY GOING STRAIGHT.

Step 8. Prepare for the night

Remember that most monsters cannot climb, so climbing a tall tree is a good strategy. When the night comes you will need to build a sword and be ready to fight the monsters that appear. A good starting weapon is probably a stone sword. Diamond swords are the easiest way to kill any monster.

Step 9. Create projects

Now that you've gotten used to crafting, metalworking, and in-game controls, you'll have gained enough experience to start crafting blueprints. I would advise you to do it in creative mode, as you will have all the necessary materials at your disposal. Try starting with the stone. You can create anything you want, from a spaceship to a floating villa. For more information on how to build projects in the Pocket Edition, you can search for other articles on the internet: they will be an excellent starting point for novice and experienced players.

Advice

  • Always keep a gun ready during the night, you never know.
  • If you have a lot of wooden boards and pebbles, you can make a three-level house: it will be an excellent defense in case the creepers come and try to blow it up, since doing so will not lose all the objects (keeping the crates on the upper level).
  • Creepers can catch fire with flint and steel.
  • Raw minerals such as gold and diamond can only be found by digging deep underground.
  • A really nice seed is: 1486771999. It will get you started with a fantastic island!
  • Don't start mining at night unless you are absolutely sure.
  • Have an extra pickaxe ready in case yours breaks while you are digging deep.
  • If you like to catch animals and collect your items, click on "options" in the start menu and change the settings to "peaceful".
  • The houses can only extend up to the height of the clouds.
  • Try to learn which weapons have the best hit points, and if you're fighting in multiplayer PVP, figure out when it's best to attack or retreat.
  • Monsters don't get hurt in the water, apart from Endermen.
  • You cannot hit Endermen with arrows. If you succeed, it would just be a major bug.
  • By placing torches around your home, you should be able to keep most (but not all) creatures away and prevent monsters from appearing.
  • You can make torches with matches and coal and use them to light up your home.
  • By killing monsters you can find valuable items, such as rope and bones.
  • If two people pull an item out of a chest at the same time, it will double. It is a great trick for iron, tools, diamonds, stones and boards.
  • Keep chests in your rooms so you can store items if your inventory gets too full.
  • Not only is it possible to light dynamite with flint and steel, but by doing so, after the 0.7.0 update, it is also possible to start fires, so be careful!
  • Try to build the house near the place where the monsters appear, to avoid getting lost if you die.
  • You can make the beds with 3 pieces of wool and 3 wooden boards.
  • Make sure you use the right tool for what you want to do. For example: it is better to use a pickaxe to mine, an ax to cut wood and a spade to dig.
  • Your first goal should be to build a bed.
  • Building a house in the morning is better than building it at midnight.
  • If you want to play surrounded by waterfalls, jets of lava and canopies, a good seed to start is Nyan.
  • The sand can be used with the work table (TNT), the stonecutter (sandstone) and the furnace (glass)!
  • Don't you dare stare at Endermen!
  • Dynamite can blow up buildings..
  • Stonecutters can be made by making four pebbles.
  • Killing monsters can be difficult; it may take more than one hit.
  • You can make a stonecutter to make stone brick, polished andesite, diorite and granite, stone and sandstone slabs.
  • On the internet you will find various articles that will explain how to start an adventure in Minecraft.

Warnings

  • You can attack the creepers with a bow and arrow. Punching them is not the best idea, since they can explode (and they will). Or you can try to attack them and retreat soon after, then trying to repeat this move.
  • Spiders are not afraid of sunlight and even go out in the daytime. During the day, however, they will not attack unless provoked.
  • Skeletons are armed with a bow and arrow, so it is best to attack them using the same technique (with a bow).
  • Zombies attack in groups.
