If you play The Sims 2 but haven't managed to get abducted by aliens yet, don't be discouraged. The odds of kidnapping are pretty low, and you'll have to persist. The kidnapping in Strangetown is default, of course, and you got lucky in Veronaville. Here are some instructions to make a kidnapping more likely.
Steps
Step 1. Purchase a Farstar e3 telescope
Step 2. Encourage your sim to stargaze
Don't let him look into the telescope, as this will only improve his Logic ability. The longer your Sim looks at the stars, the higher the chances of them being kidnapped. So start making him do this activity as soon as it gets dark. There is no more suitable time than the night. People claim there are some better moments, but that's not the case.
Step 3. To maximize the chance of kidnapping you will have to make your sim look at the stars throughout the note without interruption
This is because for every hour the sim looks at the stars, the chances of him being kidnapped increase. However, if the action were to stop for any reason, the probability would return to zero.
Step 4. Be patient
The aliens will kidnap your sim at night or early in the morning (whenever it's dark). Whatever sim adolescent or older can be abducted by aliens, but only i males adults will be able to get pregnant.
Step 5. If you still don't get the desired result, you can resort to the tricks
Here's how: press Ctrl + Shift + C and type "BoolProp testingcheatsenabled true" without the quotes. Do it in Neighborhood mode, then select your house. Select your sim, Shift-click the telescope when I check the sim you want to kidnap and select FORCE ABDUCTION. Your sim will look into the telescope and be kidnapped. Type "BoolProp testingcheatsenabled false" to disable the cheats.
Advice
- You will have to leave your sim alone when he looks at the stars. Have all the other sims in the house stay away from the telescope location and wait. If you get bored, or your sim has to go to bed, sleep, etc, you can open the cheat console by holding Ctrl + Shift + C without the +, and type "maxmotive" without the quotes, then press Enter. All sims' needs on your property will be met, except the environmental one. That way you won't have to stop.
- Also make sure you maximize your Logic skill. The chances of a kidnapping will be greater this way.
- If you have the FreeTime expansion, sims with the Knowledge primary aspiration can get the aspiration bonus of summoning aliens.
- If you want to avoid using tricks, place the telescope as far as possible from the house in the open.
- For a woman to get pregnant from aliens, you will need to activate the cheats with boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. Then shift-click on an adult sim, click on "More" and then on "Spawn". This will create the "Tombstone of L and D". Click on it, then on "More" and select "Make me alien pregnant".
Warnings
- Getting your Sims to watch the stars all night is difficult, as their needs to use the bathroom, sleep and eat will increase. Furthermore, even if the chances of a kidnapping increase, they will never be very high. However, this method will allow you to get the desired result if you are patient.
- You should know that if a male sim is kidnapped, they will most likely become "pregnant". This means that alien children will be born from him. -
