This guide describes how to remove the censorship that covers your Sims. By default, the Sims Not have nipples or genitals; to see anything other than a doll with no features you need to download custom skins and other content.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Remove Nudity Censorship in The Sims 4
Step 1. Visit this address with a browser
This page contains a mod for The Sims 4 that removes censorship from Sims.
Mods are only available for PC and Mac; they cannot be installed on PS4 or Xbox One
Step 2. Click on File
This is the second tab under the mod images. Press it and the files to download will appear.
Step 3. Click on moxiemason_nomosaic_toddlerupdate_15012017.rar
This way you will download the mod.
Step 4. Open the RAR file
To do this, you need WinRAR or 7-zip.
On Mac, you can use The Unarchiver - just double-click the file to extract it
Step 5. Extract the package to The Sims 4 mods folder
Once the RAR file is open, click on Extract to or Extract and save the package in the following path:
Documents> Electronic Arts> The Sims 4> Mods
. Then click on Ok.
Step 6. Activate in-game mods if needed
In The Sims 4, mods are not enabled by default. You can activate them in the Options menu, following these steps after each game update:
- Start the game.
- Click on the button with the three dots in the upper right corner.
- Click on Game options.
- Click on Other in the Options menu.
- Check the items "Activate custom content and mod" and "Activate mod script".
- Click Apply Changes.
- Restart the game.
Step 7. Start the game
If you installed the mod correctly, your Sims should no longer be hidden from censorship when naked.
Method 2 of 3: Remove Nudity Censorship in The Sims 3
Step 1. Make sure the mods are configured correctly
If the "Resource.cfg" file does not exist in the Mods folder, all additional content will not work. You can find the files needed to run mods on Mod The Sims, here. Just unzip the FrameworkSetup file and copy the Mods folders that are generated (along with all the files they contain) to the path
Documents> Electronic Arts> The Sims 3
Step 2. Visit this address with a browser
You can use the browser of your choice on a PC or Mac.
Mods don't work on console versions of The Sims 3
Step 3. Click on Version 14
This will download the latest version of the mod file for The Sims 3.
If the message "Network Error" appears when you click on "Version 14", click on the green Download for patch 1.67 / 69 button
Step 4. Unzip the file
The file you are interested in is in.package format, inside the "NRaas_Decensor_VR.zip" archive. To extract it you need a program like Winzip, WinRAR or 7-zip. Follow these steps to extract the contents of the zip file.
- On Windows, right-click on the.zip file and select Extract All.
- On Mac, double click on the.zip file. The contents will be extracted automatically.
Step 5. Copy the file to The Sims 3 mod folder
You will find it at the following path:
Documents> Electronic Arts> The Sims 3> Mods> Packages
Step 6. Start the game
If you have installed the mod correctly, Sims will no longer be covered by censorship when naked. You can then use the NRaas menu within the game to turn censorship on or off according to your preferences.
Method 3 of 3: The Sims 2
Step 1. Go to this address with a browser
The Quaxi's No Censor mod webpage will open.
- If Sim File Share is not available, you can download the mod from this link.
- You can use the file if you have Pets or newer expansions.
Step 2. Click Download
You will see this blue button at the top of the page. Press it and it will turn green, starting the download of the mod.
Step 3. Move the file to The Sims 2 mod folder
Right-click on the file you just downloaded and copy it, or use the cut function. Afterward, paste it into the following path:
Documents> EA Games> The Sims 2> Downloads
If you don't see the Downloads folder in the game folder, create it yourself. To do this, just click on an empty spot in the window and create a new folder called "Downloads"
Step 4. Start the game
If you have installed the mod correctly, Sims should no longer be censored when naked.
