Want to join the Thieves Guild in Skyrim? Not sure where to start? Then read on!
Steps
Step 1. Travel to Riften
If you haven't been there yet, go to the White Street Buildings, where you will find someone who will rent you a carriage for 20-50 gold.
Step 2. During the day, in the main bazaar (always walking straight from the main entrance to the city) you will find a man named Brynjolf
Usually, he'll be the first to strike up a conversation with you; but if by chance he doesn't, you talk to him.
Step 3. He will ask you to leave the ring in someone's pocket
The success or failure of this chore will depend on your skill as a pickpocket. Accept the mission.
Step 4. After completing the mission, talk to him
He will give you 100 gold coins.
Step 5. Now go to the Rat Paths in Riften
The entrance is a closed iron door next to some water, underground in Riften. It is located under the bazaar. There are less than 5 bandits inside.
Step 6. Go through the Vie dei Ratti until you reach La Caraffa Worn out
Remember to save your game before entering, as there may be a mistake in the game and the people inside the bar may attack you - and the worst part is that they won't die!
Step 7. Once inside, talk to Brynjolf
He will give you a new mission, involving 3 people. Complete it, and you will become a member of the Thieves Guild!
Advice
- The best thing about joining the Guild is to have a high level of pickpocket, so that you won't fail to slip the ring into the unfortunate's pocket.
- Always save your game before doing something dangerous, otherwise you may regret it.
- Don't tell anyone that you are a member of the guild, or Brynjolf will expel you and you will have to pay to rejoin.
