In Ragnarok Online a guild is a group of players who organize themselves to participate in the War of Emperium. The War of Emperium, also known as WoE, is a server event where various guilds fight each other in the capital's castle until one manages to destroy the Emperium. Those who manage to destroy the Emperium before time runs out can take control of the castle and have new guild options. In the new WoE, whoever is in control of the castle must also defend it; if another guild destroys the Emperium, the castle passes under its control!
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Create a Guild
Step 1. Get the Emperium
There is only one prerequisite to be met in order to create a guild: having 1 Emperium. The Emperium is dropped mainly by MVP monsters such as Baphomet, Golden Thief Bug, Angeling and Ghostring.
There are also normal monsters that drop the Emperium, but with a 0.02% probability; these are Mineral, Shining Plant, Requiem and Orc Zombie
Step 2. Create a guild
After obtaining the Emperium, which must be in your character's equipment at the time of guild creation, create the guild by typing / guild guildname (for example, / guild FiveMinuteMeal).
The character who creates a guild becomes its leader, the "Guild Master". Once a guild has been created, it is impossible to change its name and the character who commands it, unless, in terms of regulations, irregularities occur (due, for example, to having entered an inappropriate name). In this case, Gravity can ask to change the name of the guild or dissolve it
Step 3. Disband the guild
If you want to disband your guild, you have to kick out all members and then type / breakguild guildname (for example, / breakguild FiveMinuteMeal). This thing can only be done by the Guild Master.
Step 4. Invite other players
Inviting other players to join the guild is as simple as inviting them to a party. You can do this from your Friend's List or by meeting other characters in the game. All you have to do is right click on the name or character and choose "Invite to Join Guild".
Other players have the right to decline the invitation
Step 5. Open the guild window
Now that you have created your guild, you can access the guild window by pressing Alt + G. This window is used to change things within the guild and get information about it (know who are the members online, the number of recruits, etc.).
Part 2 of 3: Learn about the Guild Window
Step 1. Click on Guild Info
This tab shows general information related to the guild, such as its level and which guilds are allied and enemy. Also, still in this tab, you will find the Emblem button that allows you to change the guild emblem.
Step 2. Click on "Guildsmen"
All guild members are listed on this tab. The leader always comes first, followed by the other members in order of title. Online members are highlighted, and it is possible to know who has been taxed to gain experience for the guild.
- In this tab you can also see the contribution given by each member for the good of the guild and change the title of each.
- Assigning officers is a great help in building a good guild, as they can administer it when you are away. They can invite new recruits and expel unwanted members.
Step 3. Click on the Position tab
Here are the 20 noble titles that the guild leader can assign. The order of these titles affects the order of the characters on the Guildsmen tab.
As mentioned, noble titles give the right to expel or invite other players to the guild, so for the role of officer, choose people who can be trusted
Step 4. Click on Guild Skills
Guild abilities are shown here. As the guild levels up, extra skill points are awarded on this tab. Also in this section you can use the active skills of the guild.
Step 5. Click on Expel History
During your absence, the officers may have kicked someone out of the guild. In this tab you can find the list of those who have been expelled, with the addition of a note explaining the reasons for the expulsion.
Step 6. Click on Guild Notice
Here the guild leader can write a note of a couple of lines, visible to all guild members when logging in or when switching maps. It is useful for the most important communications.
Part 3 of 3: Be Aware of Your Responsibilities
Step 1. Reach the maximum number of members
The maximum amount of players that can be part of a guild is 16. This limit can be increased by using the Guild Extension skill up to a maximum of 58 members.
Having a large number of members can be very beneficial during the War of Emperium
Step 2. Establish a Guild Tax
To unlock guild abilities for use in War of Emperium, the guild needs to level up. To do this, its members donate part of their experience in the form of a tax.
As the guild levels up, it earns a skill point which can be assigned among the various guild skills
Step 3. Help your guild members
For the guild to function at its best, it is important that you, as the leader, set a good example. To win the War of Emperium, guild members will need to have good equipment.
