To be able to use it normally, Windows 7 must be activated within 30 days of installation. You can use the "-rearm" command via command prompt, which is used to reset the duration of the usage period without activation. Remember that this command can be used for a maximum of 3 times, i.e. for a total usage period of 120 days.
Steps
Step 1. Press the ⊞ Win key, then type the command "cmd" inside the search bar that appears
The command prompt icon should appear in the results list.
Step 2. Select the command prompt icon with the right mouse button, then choose "Run as administrator" from the context menu
This will open a Command Prompt window with system administrator privileges.
Step 3. Type the command "slmgr -rearm" (without quotes) inside the Command Prompt window, then press the Enter key
A small script will run after which you will be prompted to restart your computer.
Step 4. Reboot the system
Step 5. Check the status of Windows activation
Select the "Computer" icon with the right mouse button, then choose the "Properties" item. The "System" window will appear. The free trial period, which precedes the requirement to activate Windows, should have been reset to 30 days.
Do not forget that this command can be executed a maximum of 3 times, corresponding to a maximum of 120 days of use before the activation procedure becomes mandatory
Advice
While this is a completely legitimate feature, provided directly by Microsoft through the operating system, the "slmgr -rearm" command is only a temporary solution
Warnings
- Windows Loader may violate the terms of the agreement you entered into with Microsoft when you installed Windows 7.
- If you bought a copy of Windows 7 that needs to be activated via this method it is probably a pirated copy, which means you have been scammed.
