This tutorial shows you how to log into a website as an administrator.
Steps
Step 1. In order to perform this procedure you will need to be the owner of the website or at least have the necessary permissions to act as an administrator
You should have the credentials (username and password) to be able to log in as an administrator
Step 2. Learn about the structure of your website
Each website or 'Content Management System' (CMS) provides a link to log in as an administrator, which may differ slightly from site to site.
Step 3. Let's see some examples of logging in as an administrator to some of the most famous CMSs
Step 4. Let's assume your site URL is 'https://www.miositoweb.com'
- If your site was created with Drupal, use the following link 'https://www.miositoweb.com/admin'
- If your site was created with Joomla !, use the following link 'https://www.miositoweb.com/administrator'
-
Finally, if your site was created with Wordpress, use the link 'https://www.miositoweb.com/wp-login.php'.
If your site was created from scratch and in a completely customized way, the login link as administrator will vary according to the structure of the site itself
Warnings
- This procedure does not work correctly with some websites.
- In some states, using this method may be illegal, especially if you don't have permission to access the site as an administrator.
