Step 6. Delete a connection with an application or site

If you want to completely remove the connection between your Facebook account and a certain site or application, click on the "X" icon next to the "Edit" link for that application. You will receive a message telling you that your connection has been deleted. Click "Remove" to confirm.

  • The application and the site may still have stored your old information, because you previously shared it. You will need to contact the company that owns that application or site to try to delete your data.
  • When you delete the link to a site, your ability to interact with that site will likely be limited until you reactivate Facebook Connection.
