This article shows you how to find the make and model of an Android device using the Settings application or, where possible, by removing the battery to access the information printed by the manufacturer directly on the smartphone.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Using the Settings Application

Step 1. Examine the outer shell of the mobile device
The manufacturer's logo should be clearly printed on the front or back of the smartphone.

Step 2. Launch your device's Settings app by tapping the appropriate icon

Step 3. Scroll down the menu that appeared to be able to locate and select the Device Info item
It is located within the "System" section of the menu.

Step 4. Look for the "Model Code" entry
The exact model number of the device in use appears in this field.
If you need more information about the smartphone you are using, you can use the model code to search with Google

Step 5. Look for "Android Version"
This is the Android version number currently installed on the device.

Step 6. Press the button
located in the upper left corner of the screen.

Step 7. Tap on Regulations or Regulatory labels.
It should be located within the "System" section of the "Settings" menu or directly on the "About device" screen.

Step 8. Look for the "Manufacturer" or "Manufacturer Name" option
This is the company that physically built and assembled the smartphone.
Part 2 of 2: Remove the Battery

Step 1. Turn off the Android device completely
If your smartphone is inside a case or cover, you will need to remove it in order to take out the battery

Step 2. Disassemble the back cover of the device to gain access to the compartment where the battery is installed

Step 3. Remove the battery from its bay

Step 4. Review the label containing the information printed by the device manufacturer
Inside are the model code, serial number and manufacturer name, together with the place and date of manufacture.
