This article teaches how to copy and paste text using Android.
Steps
Step 1. Search for the text you want to copy
On Android, you can copy text from virtually any application, including browsers, emails and messages.
Step 2. Touch and hold a word in the text
It will be highlighted. You will also see two sliders: one at the beginning of the word and another at the end.
Step 3. Drag the sliders to select the entire text
Drag the first slider to the beginning of the area you want to copy and the second to the end. At this point all the text to be copied should have been selected.
Step 4. Tap Copy
This option appears at the top of the screen (with an icon that looks like two overlapping sheets of paper) or directly on the selected text. The text will then be ready to be copied.
Step 5. Go to the area where you want to copy the text
Text can usually be pasted anywhere there is a text / typing box, such as a chat window, document, or new post on social networks.
Step 6. Touch and hold the area where you want to paste the text
A pop-up window will appear.
Step 7. Tap Paste
The copied text will then appear in the text box.
