This article explains how to find an Apple Watch associated with your Apple ID. To find a lost Apple Watch, you need to activate the "Find my iPhone" function. You can use it both on a paired mobile phone and on the iCloud website.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: On the iPhone
Step 1. Open the "Find My iPhone" application
The icon looks like a green radar on a gray background.
Step 2. Wait for the application to locate your Apple Watch
This may take a few seconds, especially if this is your first time trying to search for the Apple Watch using an iPhone.
Step 3. Select your Apple Watch
Tap the Apple Watch name, which is located almost at the bottom of the screen. This way the iPhone will start looking for it.
- This process can take a few minutes.
- If the Apple Watch should be offline, leave the application open for a few minutes. An Apple Watch online can still take two to three minutes to appear.
Step 4. Review the results
The location of the Apple Watch should appear on the map.
Pinch the screen with two fingers to zoom. Pinch them together to zoom out and move them apart to zoom in
Method 2 of 2: On Desktop
Step 1. Open the iCloud website
Visit https://www.icloud.com/ in a browser. The page for logging into iCloud will open.
Step 2. Log in to iCloud
Enter the email address associated with your Apple ID and password, then click → to the right of the password.
Skip this step if a board with various applications opens
Step 3. Click Find iPhone
It is found in the list of applications at the bottom of the iCloud dashboard.
Step 4. Click on All Devices
This section is at the top of the page. Clicking on it will open a drop-down menu.
Step 5. Select your Apple Watch
It is found in the drop-down menu. This way iCloud will start searching for the device.
Step 6. Review the results
The location of the Apple Watch should appear on the map.
