How to Open a Lemonade Banquet: 15 Steps

Do you remember when you were five and you said, "Mom, I want to make some money!" Probably the first thing you did was look under the sofa cushions, and under your bed. Then, you turned to lemons.

Well, that earned you money then, and it still does now. A good place to stay is the beach, the park, or a popular cul-de-sac in your neighborhood.

Steps

Step 1. You have to choose whether to use real lemons or just the lemon powder

The benefits of using real lemons are that they are healthier and more authentic. Some people prefer to buy "homemade" lemonade. The advantage of the preparation is that it costs less and some customers do not like the pulp of real lemons. Also, the powder for making lemonade allows you to be faster. But this is treated and you have to be careful not to put too much. Real lemons are much better and healthier.

Step 2. If you want to use the powder, it's all very simple:

Step 3. Here is the recipe for lemonade with real lemons:

3. Add the water and sugar and mix well using a spoon or blender.

   1. Choose the place. Putting it in front of the house will only attract the few people who are thirsty. As I said before, the ideal place to open your "business" is a park or the beach.

   2. Bring a table, chair, and paper table cover. You can use any type of table, even a food trolley like those in football matches.

      

      Step 6. Place a sign next to you on the ground so that people understand that you sell lemonade

      

      Step 7. Along with lemonade, you can sell French fries or some healthy snack like apples, or chips

      

      Step 8. Just remember that you don't have to get angry if someone doesn't stop

      They may not be thirsty, or they may not like lemonade. Or they just don't have any money.

      

      Step 9. Also, try to keep everything as clean as possible so that customers don't fear they might catch some germs

      Advice

      • Be creative, come up with something new, or sell cookies along with lemonade is a great solution. You can also try selling Gatorade and different drinks.
      • Buy juicy lemons, not harder ones.
      • Also put in a container for tips, or a jar to earn more money!
      • On your sign, try to explain why you sell lemonades. Charity and your desire to relieve their fatigue brings more customers. Never say you're selling lemonade just to make some money.
      • Don't forget the water bottles, they are perfect for people on the run.
      • Provide paper cups. You can also use bottles, charging them or giving them away.
      • Make sure the banquet is very neat!
      • Give customer discounts, like "Buy 2, get 1 for free!" You will lose money on a single lemonade, but you will attract more parents with children!
      • Try to impress people by showing off a nice smile and keeping the banquet clean, this will earn you more tips!
      • Bring some coins for the change, in case anyone only has whole bills.
      • Define a correct price for your lemonade. If you have positioned yourself in a place where there are a lot of thirsty people, ask for € 0.50 or € 0.75 for lemonade.
      • Try to take advantage of the hottest days, not the cold and windy ones.
      • Make sure everyone who helps you earns their fair share !!
      • To keep the lemonade cold, bring an ice bucket with you to keep the carafe cool when you're not using it.
      • Don't stop people. If they don't have time for lemonade, don't bother them. If you are nice, customers will come back!
      • Be very nice to all customers.
      • Go to a very busy place, such as a store. Ask the manager, although you will probably need to call the main office. If so, take a couple of days to plan.
      • Have some friends come with you.
      • With your friends, open different stalls in different places. This way, you can double or triple your earnings!

      Warnings

      • Make sure you have an umbrella, awning or parasol. You definitely don't want to get burned.
      • Have an adult accompany you to help you cut lemons.
      • Place the money box next to you or under the table. Don't risk being robbed!
      • You have to have fun.
      • Ask parents for permission to open banquets on private property. Make sure they call the owner.
      • Don't leave the banquet unattended, someone could steal your money or lemonade.
