School is finally over, but what are you going to do now? The happiness of no longer having to go to school can quickly turn into boredom because you have nothing to do. Don't let that happen to you too. Read on to find out how to make the most of your summer vacation!

Method 1 of 7: Clean up the Old Year
Step 1. Clean your room
Throw away or put away anything you don't need for the hot season. Homework, heavy winter sweaters, etc. Put everything in order for a good start to the summer.
Method 2 of 7: Having Fun Outdoors
Step 1. Get out in the fresh air
You've been indoors all winter, grab your bike and go for a nice long ride. Grab a couple of friends and go hiking. Head to the beach or lake for an afternoon of swimming and tanning. Go for a run or just walk in the park or on the street. Take your dog out (even the neighbor's if you don't have one).

Step 2. Go camping
Gather some friends and go and pitch your tents somewhere. A yard, an open field (if allowed), or a campsite are perfect for camping. Make sure you have the right equipment so you don't have to find yourself in the rain in sandals and shorts with nothing to do. Try pitching your tents by the lake for great views and easy access to the swimming areas! Camping and swimming. What more can you ask for?
Step 3. Play with the water
Get the water pump or sprayer if you can't go to the lake, river, or pool. Who says you can't be 10 again?
- Buy a paddling pool. Sure, it's meant for young children, but it can be a blast with your friends. Put on your sunscreen, put on your sunglasses, put on some good music and laze by the pool. It's an inexpensive way to stay cool in the sun.
- Buy, borrow or rent a water mat. You know those large strips of plastic that you spread over the garden and spray water with the pump and then slide over them? It's a great way to have fun with friends. Open the pump and take a nice slide. Don't forget to take pictures!
Step 4. Go camping for a few days
After all, camping is a perfect place to make new friends. Plus, there are tons of campsites to choose from!
Step 5. Visit of the places
You don't have to go to exotic places, you go to visit something that is in your country or region, or even in your city. Go on a trip with your family, or with some friends to a place you've never been.
Step 6. Maintain a small garden
You can grow seedlings in a pot or some vegetables or fruit.
Method 3 of 7: Having fun indoors
Step 1. Get your library card
Spend time reading books you like and are interesting. Novels, magazines, encyclopedias, essays, etc. and much more are there to be read for free. Choose what you like and read. Many libraries also offer summer reading clubs, so consider joining them if you enjoy reading.
Step 2. Learn to cook
Cooking is a fun and tasty activity to try. Take courses, ask your relatives to help you, find a book or search the internet for easy recipes.
Step 3. Listen to your favorite songs
Music relaxes you and makes you feel cheerful. Create a summer playlist with all your favorite songs to listen to while playing sports, on the beach or relaxing at home.
Step 4. Watch your favorite movies
Watching movies with friends is a great way to spend time together. But don't watch more than two movies a week.
Method 4 of 7: Using Your Skills
Step 1. Keep a scrapbook of the summer
Buy several disposable cameras in early summer (or use your cell phone camera, if it takes good photos) and carry them with you at all times. When you go out with friends, take pictures. Buy some labels, glue, glitter, etc. and have fun.
Step 2. Engage in activities you've always wanted to try but haven't done yet
Borrow books from the library on these topics, or use online resources. You don't need to spend a fortune on materials - see what you have in your house, visit a flea market or try online auctions and you'll save money.
Method 5 of 7: Shopping
Step 1. Go to the mall
The malls are full of teenagers during the summer. It's a great way to make new friends. Take a ride with friends. Have fun even if you don't have enough money to buy something.
Method 6 of 7: Relax
Step 1. Stay indoors from time to time to be alone
Take a nice bath, put on your pajamas and throw yourself on the sofa with a good book and some snacks. Rent a couple of movies and enjoy some time with yourself.

Step 3. Go to a yoga class
Yoga is a great way to relax and be patient. Gather some friends and try a yoga class. It is not strictly necessary to go to an organized course, you can also find a book or search the internet that teaches the basics and try.

Method 7 of 7: Having fun with friends
Step 1. Invite friends over and spend the night together
Grab your favorite drinks, snacks, movies, video games, magazines and books for a fun filled night.
Advice
- Swim. Don't forget the sunscreen! Bring a cooler with bottles of water and snacks (fruit, bars, etc.). It is important to stay hydrated when in the sun for a long time.
- Cycling. Do not listen to music while cycling on the street, you would not hear a car when it arrives. Bring an outdoor kit with you (see below). Bike to the park, lake, etc. and relax under the shade of a tree. Don't forget the helmet.
- Run. Great exercise. Obviously beware of the machines. Be careful.
- Aerobics with rhythmic music. Calm your mind and rebalance your body.
- Skate. Bring your outdoor kit. It's a dangerous sport, so always wear a helmet and pads.
- Excursions. You need hiking shoes. Do not go there in slippers, you would sprain an ankle. Bring your outdoor kit.
Warnings
- Don't stay indoors playing video games, watching TV, and spending too much time on the internet. Go outside and do some exercises in the fresh air!
- Outdoor exercises can be dangerous, but they are advisable. Trust your common sense.
- Summer vacations are the time when teens make more use of drugs, alcohol, and sex for fun. Don't do any of these things! Remember that you are better than that.
- Don't get any plants you don't know.
- Don't waste time sleeping. Sleeping too much can cause damage to your health, making you feel as exhausted as if you are not getting enough sleep.
