Preparing your suitcase seems easy, yet it is quite common to forget something, or to take too much or too little away. Follow these steps to quickly prepare for your departure!
Steps
Method 1 of 1: Prepare the Baggage
Step 1. Open your suitcase well, so that all the space you have available is visible
Will all the items you have thought of wearing fit in?
Step 2. Take all the clothes you would like to bring out of the closet and organize them as follows:
- A pile of clothes that you absolutely must take with you
- A pile of clothes that you would like to carry
- A pile of clothes you might as well do without
Step 3. Reserve a part of the suitcase for your shoes
Arrange them flat, side by side.
Step 4. Each suitcase is typically divided into two compartments
Place your shoes on either side and take advantage of the remaining space to store your personal care products. You will need to bring a shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, shower gel, or whatever product you usually use. Choose smaller bottles or put the amount you will need in multipurpose bottles. He also arranges underwear and socks, items that do not need to keep the crease, possibly the bathing suit (better to bring two) that you can slip into the remaining free corners. Also add pajamas and a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.
Step 5. The other half of the suitcase will be destined for clothes
You will need seven changes, choose the garments you want from the pile of clothes you "absolutely have to wear" until you go down to the ones you "would like to wear" or "you could do without". There is no need to carry around the entire wardrobe! Fold your clothes after ironing them. If you are going to go for a week at the beach rather than clothes it will be more suitable to bring t-shirts and shorts to match, in this case, you can wear the clothes you wear in the evening only for a few hours
Step 6. Place a tag inside your suitcase where you will write your name, address and phone number
It will be useful for any eventuality.
Step 7. Place the other items in your hand baggage
In your personal bag you can put all those things you will need during the trip, or immediately after arrival. For example, a book to read, a cap or hat, sunglasses, a snack or the currency of the destination country.
Step 8. Choose carefully the clothes to travel with
Better find something comfortable, which still makes you look tidy.
Step 9. You are now ready to go, have a nice trip
